You probably have a psych term for it. Last season Kuz was playing free and easy exceeding all expectations. Then he worked hard to reach another level this year, but he’s playing under the weight of high expectations: his and everyone else’s. I just think he is pressing right now.

I don't get why the coaching staff is putting him at the 5!!! This is literally idiotic and I'm actually hoping Wagner comes back sooner rather than later...

Also, that beasley signing is looking pretty dumb right now...unless of course Kuzma goes down then I guess Beasley would take his spot.

Some dude named PG cried when his coach wanted to play him at PF.

This dude was asked to try small ball center after getting stronger in the offseason, and he accepted the challenge with zero complaining. Props for that.

However, he’s better in the open court in attack mode. If anything I’m disappointed LeBron hasn’t stepped up to say he’ll take that on. He’s physically more capable than anyone on the roster to do it actually.

Superb game offensively. Inject him into the starting 5...

LeBron, stepping up? With no spotlight? Are you at all familiar with LeBron James?

Yeah, Kuz starting in place of Ingram is a better fit. It's a not a knock on Ingram, Kuz's skill set is just more suited for that.

Kuzma had one of those amazing games. But we already know he is capable of having these nights.

The problem is he doesn't do it consistently. He needs to be more reliable on a nightly basis.

    Big game though, kudos.

Spectacular game from Kuz tonight. Great to also not have to see him play the 5.

Yeah a starting 5 of Lonzo Hart Lebron Kuz and McGee seems to be the solution at least offensively .

BI is taking too many midrange J's and isn't elite at it .

Still my guy amongst the youngsters. Play him at his rightful position and he can deliver.

Reminds me so much of the last season, where every time, for whatever reason, Randle got minutes he delivered and contributed meaningfully. Only to go back to the bench the next time around, or back to the asinine 20 minutes a game.

Same s*** is going to transpire here... Kuz's gonna blow up, only to get back to playing C, when BI is back.

    Alas...

Yeah. I've preached and preached on here about Luke jerking around the kids with their minutes. This is par for the course.

Amazing game by Kuz. He should not play the 5, and offensively he is better than Ingram.

^ he's miles ahead of BI on the offensive end. That running hook shot is a thing of beauty.

Kuz is gonna force BI to the bench. I’d like to see this lineup at times in the future:

    Lonzo
    BI
    Lebron
    Kuz
    McGee
