Thats fine, but I mean he shouldn't strive to be a jack of all trades and a master at none. Be that lethal scorer and slowly add to your game.
if that's the lineup, lebron needs to be the back line defender, not kuz. hell, put stephenson there if you're going to make a mockery of the center position in the first place. that's the kind of crap dantoni pulls.
Agree with this. I mean, he doesn't want to be known as a one-dimensional player and all, but yeah, he should focus on the bigger picture (team first over oneself) and prioritize what is more important from a team perspective right now.
It will help anyone grow as a player to explore other positions, but I can't see Kuzma at center being a good move in any scenario. He doesn't have the length or enough in his back pocket. It's beyond silly and ridiculous. It just doesn't make any sense.
The mockery is done anyway, might as well join the club. Kuz actually shows a little promise, but he can't do it alone. I'd trust Hart to handle one-on-one defense on the block before Kuz.
He ain’t Randle at the 5 that’s for sure. Looking long term, he may match up better vs Golden State’s small ball five, which gives me hope. Curry- Rondo/Ball Thompson- KCP/Hart Iggy- Lebron Durant- Ingram Green- Kuz
I'm fine with that but in the key moments I want Lebron on KD so we don't have to help as much when KD takes Brandon down low and is more physical with him.
I'd rather have BI on KD. Length vs length. Also, I'd rather have Lebron conserve his energy and not be in foul trouble guarding KD. BI will be up to the challenge, and also gives Lebron the ability to help on defense if he's on a Draymond or Iggy instead of having to shadow KD.
That's why I said only in key possessions (moments) down the stretch. I would never want LBJ in this stage of his career having to guard KD all game or for the majority. Then next year we can put Klay or Kawhi on him
or you know, don't have to guard him at all when he's flying down the wing next to Bron, BI, Zo, and Kuz.
First really good game of the preseason. That game sealing tip in off the missed free throw was noice.
What's the rationale on his late traveling call? Looked clean to me. Shuffled his feet, picked uphis pivot, what?
It looked like his pivot foot shifted just a bit as he took that first step towards the basket, but if they’re going to call travel on that, there were about 300 other traveling calls they missed last night.
He makes tough moves look smooth and easy When he catches fire, he’s the type a guy who can light a team up for 20 points in a quarter. I actually expect to see that several times this year already.
