If he walks away, they get nothing. Sometimes peanuts is better than nothing. Right?

DeRozan might be a "star" but he's also a proven PO choker. Saving 28mil a year might be better than peanuts...

Maybe just me but starting to smell like a P**** P situation with again a question at the end of "well the Lakers didn't trade for me when they could.". With the same answer, "of course not" for the asking price from a team that was hell bent not to see him go to the Lakers.

Come on, he’s had Lebron in his conference his entire career.

Pau was a first round choker up until he joined up with Kobe.

One of my friends who grew up with Demarr's dad in Compton told me Demarr has some emotional issues. Might be why he zones out when too much pressure is on him in the playoffs.

I don’t think that’s the choice we are talking about. It’s either Kawhi Leonard or nothing or trading for peanuts. DeMar DeRozan is already gone.

Maybe, but the difference this year is that there is no insecure desperation with Lakers fans. We have LeBron now and a solid roster, with options in 2019.

When PP was playing his “I want to be a Laker” game, we wanted him because we hadn’t been able to get anybody of substance to get this franchise boosted in the right direction. So, if Kawhi doesn’t show up, then oh well. That’s my take at least.

Right. Final word is Kobe's ... they have to want to be Lakers.

Right. We desperately needed to land a star, and that's why I wanted to trade for George. We got lebron, so the desperation is gone. Don't get me wrong--I'd like to get Leonard, but I think there are other ways to improve now.

Yeah .... but what if we traded really valuable guys and then Kawhi's here thinking he's going to sign a long term extension. Before that happens somehow Westbrook winks at him or gives him that come hither bro look on Instagram or FB and.... boom just like that p**** p is smitten and he goes there anyway? I mean it could have happened. And we're screwed with those players gone.

DeRozan and Love did PSA's together about mental health awareness so there's truth to that story...

Agreed... James is the right choice if we are talking among those lines. Expectations are much higher along with the pressure. Durant? Highly killed but seeing how he chooses to go through social media to argue gives insight as to how insecure he is. Can't come up with anyone else. Chris Paul in his younger years would've fit.

He's playing it the way he supposed to. He's supposed to come off a bit weird there.

Yeah that's terrible review and not at all reality. It's quite obvious that LBJ worked quite closely with Judd Apatow as well as Amy and Bill and actually had chemistry with them.

I saw it and thought Lebron did pretty decent for an NBA guy. Probably a bad example to go after LBJ on since he received critical praise for this. The scene posted is not exactly a scene calling for him to be passionate, he played the part the way he was supposed to based on how they presented his character from the start and if he were that bad, I don't think he would have got the write-ups that he did from movie critics:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trainwreck_(film)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trainwreck_(film) (and btw there are no negative reviews of his performance in wiki left out here)

Now who would believe he would say something humble like that.
