lol, was that written by a spurs fan? the smear campaign is real. how about an article about cracks in the veneer of the spurs' organization? everybody too scared of getting bullied by popovich in interviews? they f***ed up. royally. it cost them a decade of contention.

 

Maybe Lowry has spoken AT him considering its Kawhi.

Wow this is just weird. He knows Leonard doesn't want to be there and his friend who did want to be there just got axed. Safe to say
Masai has created a volatile situation.

Lowry has one year left on his deal after this season, and at 33 years of age next year Masai may be thinking if it doesn't work itself out here between Kawhi and Lowry that they can offload that last 33.3 mil year of Lowry's deal somewhere maybe even at the deadline if Kawhi is a sure thing to vacate, try to get some good picks and go right into rebuild next summer. A team like Toronto's best shot is build through the draft. There is some madness to Masai's method here, but he has to be creative. Take a huge risk on glory and if it doesn't work he's made a way to possibly dissolve the whole thing and start fresh next summer.

 

He's next, so he best not get comfortable. Nobody needs to be paying Lowry 30 mil.

If you detest a person who is generally viewed as charismatic and at the same time you yourself are incapable of seeing another person's viewpoint that differs from your own, or at least general viewpoints regarding that person, then you're likely to view any passion, exuberance, confidence or enthusiasm emanating from the person as narcissism, arrogance & inflated ego. So what then is the point in debating it with you? None. Just except that you blindly hate the guy and move on.

Hahaha...their coach really just said that after spending the better part of 45 minutes begging Kawhi to stay and then the latter part begging him to stop running his klaws against the board.

Also June...really bruh? Kawhi ain't leading y'all that deep into the calendar...that dude is outta there by February at the latest.

 

MJ is an arrogant mofo i might not want much do with on a personal level. But he has charisma.

 

I still think Toronto is better off trading Kawhi to the Lakers as soon as possible and stop fooling themselves.

Maybe it’s a business move from the perspective of giving their fans a quality team where they can market Kawhi for the year to sell seats since DD is gone. I think at the latest they will try to move Kawhi to the Lakers (or clippers?) at the trade deadline though they should try now.

 

I wouldn't trade for Kawhi at this point...

 

we may not even need another star at this point, or we may be dealing with a completely different position. Like Center.

 

That would kill their franchise. They would be getting peanuts for him at that point, and would essentially mean they traded Demar for peanuts.
