I'm just gonna have to wait & see how this all plays out. At least all these dudes are on one year deals. Easy to move at the deadline or just let walk.
Potential small ball lineup: Rondo or Ball Ingram Lebron Kuzma Beasley That’s pretty tough to defend.
Stockpiling trade filler as well to make the Kawhi trade work money wise at the deadline? In the most brilliant of all ways perhaps. We keep ALL our most prime young TALENT and give up only the most Rob the Shark fought for future draft picks? All the while getting to see Kawhi Leonard under the microscope play basketball again. He himself should be able to smell it now if he really wants to be a Laker. Just go out there and BALL for one more 1/2 season and hold the "Lakers or Bust" line. Effing the Clippers.
6’9” and 29 years old We do seem to be embracing this whole positionless basketball thing Never a dull moment next year. Maybe now even @trodgers will watch #trainwreck
i thought magic/rob kept harping bkut having high character guys, i can over look rondo but how do you justify that comment and sign 3 doufus in lance, bease and mcgee?
Like what Erik Spoltra did in Miami I don't think Beasley gets on the court a lot due to his defensive issues. Don't worry about trying to get minutes for him on the normal rotation.
What Real said ^ sums it up perfectly. And looking at this signing in that light it makes a lot of sense.
At this point, just waiting for us to sign The Joker. Someone's got to be able to talk to this squad.
I don't really know what to make of the signing. I really feel like we should have locked up a starting caliber center but maybe they just weren't out there for cheap. Beasley is an odd one for sure. Well, he can score, but honestly I'm not interested in him getting much PT ahead of guys like Kuzma and Svi. I'd rather they get all the minutes at backup forward.
