Pretty sure he has plenty of positive reinforcement from the ladies that this won't bother him one bit
Hart dominating Summer League; it doesn't look like he belongs out there. And he isn't even our best young prospect. #thefutureisbright
But we can’t draft... The FO is a joke.... We have no good assets... Why would Lebron come here... Our 4th best prospect and backup SG is MVP of SL... Ohh yea and we have a Svi Hi haters. We have Lebron, cap space and a handful of young guys ready to ball. If we are doing it wrong, I don’t want to be right.
Look at him show love to Bron before tip off, it’s like they already played together or something. Brons got mad respect for the kids on the team.
Hart has been just amazing. Consistently dominating summer league players and being a great leader. Kudos to him.
I think he should beat out KCP for the starting position if it's just on their competition for the spot. He's the all around better player and stronger and looking like he's going to be a better scorer even. More consistent and all around a better defender including with bigger opponents. Smarter. Unless strategy dictates he's more valuable playing with the 2nd unit.
training camp will determine that could be some interesting camp battles, but our depth is phenomenal all the way around this year (Besides Center it appears)
What's good about Luke's coaching style is he plays the bench meaningful minutes not like Thibs. So Hart and kcp will get enough playing time equally
.... as well as the opposing team's bench players. If he comes off the bench it looks like it does here at summer league. Regardless he and Kuz are going to get a LOT of minutes.
He doesn't really mention it a whole lot in this interview but after the game yesterday when Trudell talked with Josh prior to walking off the court the first thing Hart said was that these other no name guys on the team don't get enough credit. Summer league is often a time when these 'other guys' have to try and make a name for themselves to make a team or make it in the G League, overseas. But everyone has bought into the culture and game plan which is really a testament to our coaching staff - Miles and others along with our leaders in Hart, Caruso, and even Jeff Ayres (who is like the 2nd oldest player to play in the Vegas Summer League). If we learned anything from last year's team if you want to get noticed you win and that's what these 'others' are doing and its paying dividends in the Win column. Look at Matt Thomas, our sniper from 3 last year. He got a very nice, lucrative offer from an overseas team after shooting it lights out for us and helping bring the Summer League Championship to LA.
I hope he guards him. I think Caruso may start out on him. But if Sexton gets his way early on or later in the game like Kevin Knox did Hart will welcome that challenge.
Then become the first team in Summer League History to win back to back titles. #TheySayWeCantDraft #DevelopPlayers
