Bresh is very irritating with his interviews. I get the sense he’s thinking he is being cutting edge or cute with some of his questions, but the players just want to tell him he’s being stupid.
Don’t worry guys. Magic said in his interview today that when someone of Lebron’s caliber come, it raises the bar of the whole organization. Including himself, Rob, Jeanie and he said it even trickles down to Spectrum. Would not be surprised if Magic decided we needed more personable TV guys now that Lebron’s here and gets rid of Geeter and Bres.
They need to get rid of McGee and Bres, BAD. Dodgers set up is so good with their play by play, color and their studio guys. I wish the Lakers could get Spero back and do a simulcast with Stu and Mychal. Then move Billy Mac to the studio and have knowledgeable analysis on set. Worthy is there by default, I get it, even though his analysis are as useful as a cactus thorn on your a**, but corny analysis is even worse. And that's what Bres and McGee do. Can't stand listening to them talk.
yeah billy mac is annoying. i'd be fine with him in the studio though to replace some of the dorks that are in there currently wish they'd find a better pbp guy to replace him. i miss joel myers
Joel wasn't just vanilla, but a vanilla who thought he was the show. I actually prefer Mac at this point. I bet Spero would love to come back.
Bres is garbage. He was trash as a Lakers beat writer at the times (Kobe hater) and more annoying now as a commentator. Get rid of the buffoon.
Nice to see Lance sitting with Luke and Brian Shaw on the sidelines talking, laughing, and having a good time. It's those player-coach relationships that Luke excels at.
catch and shoot and catch and drive are good, but i hope everyone's thinking about moving off the ball. that's been a problem for rondo and stephenson elsewhere, imo, and why ball-dominant guys have trouble meshing. i know as a pg, i always had a hard time just making the right off-ball plays (even though i knew what they were) because i was so used to having the ball in my hands and looking for others to do that. luke's system isn't like that. and that's a good thing.
