It seems like Summer 2019. Get a center now.

I knew Randle was gonna be gone, surprised to all hell PG didnt sign. He took less money to stay in OKC on top of it when he opted out.

The contract details surprised me; the decision didn't.

Good news is that this situation is different because we already have lebron. Changes the whole process once you've got a superstar in the fold.

We can wait this time and not be in danger of remaining starless.

PG surprised me none. Who the hell makes a spectacle of their FA decision just so they can burn OKC even more by leaving? The moment Presti was in the documentary, it was a done deal that he re-signs with OKC. Which tells me the decision to re-sign was made long ago and Presti knew about it already that's why he decided to appear on the stupid series.

Randle suprised me non also. We needed to clear space for 2 Superstar FA's.

    Zach Lowe weighs in:

    http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...nio-spurs-lebron-james-los-angeles-lakers-nba

Makes a really solid case for why we all should be quite high on Ingram, and how holding onto him and chasing Kawhi (and the other big FAs) next Summer might be the better play. We have LeBron in the fold now, so it stands to reason that we'll have a higher batting average in free agency moving forward than in our recent past.

lol, he desperately wants leonard anywhere but with the lakers (look at those hypothetical offers!), but in the end shows some rationality.

if the spurs can get ingram for leonard, they should. and if the lakers can get leonard for ingram and very little else, they should. this is the most sensible thing, but in the nba, that's usually something that doesn't happen.

He's quite a bit lower on Kuzma than I am. "Might be a good long-term bench player". Sure Lowe.
No new news, but that's probably good news for us right now.

I think Kuzma is plagued by his draft position and age. If he would have been taken in the top 5 and was a year younger, people would be calling him a superstar in the making. Preconceived notions are difficult to shake.

I love the fact that he's the only rookie who really sought out Kobe, and now is doing 3 a days. I watched him on Area 21 with KG and I think he has a very mature mentality. He's going to maximize his potential for sure.

Who would you miss more in a potential trade. No way we give up both. That would be stupid.

    Ingram or Kuzma?

I personally would miss Ingram more. I love his versatility and the fact that he can play point.

I've been on record multiple times that Kuz is going staight into the HOF while he's still an active player .... but I think I would miss Ingram more.

I'd build an offer around Ingram if we made the move. They play the same position and are similar players (Leonard is already what we hope Ingram can maybe be one day). My "max" offer is: Ingram/Zubac/picks if there's nothing else included. If there's a way to move Deng out as well Ingram/Hart/Zubac/more picks.

This will forever be my position and I haven't moved from it since Day 1.

I'll be ecstatic if we get Kawhi for BI and mot much else and I love BI. But with Lebron already here, I feel like we can risk waiting to get Kawhi later, trade deadline or next free agency.

But its still so suspicious to me how quiet BroLo, ATL, SAC, CHI news is. Something has to be brewing or they are just waiting out until the 7th when things become official.

What other FA? I mean assuming Kawhi is off the table that leaves:

    Kevin Durant- Wildly unlikely.
Klay Thompson- Unlikely (has repeatedly said he wants to stay).
Boogie Cousins- Okay? Impossible to count on.
    Al Horford- Unlikely.
    Kyrie Irving- Wont happen.
    Jimmy Butler- Maybe.
Kevin Love- Maybe, but not exciting.
    Kemba Walker- Eh.
    Eric Bledsoe- Eh.
    Goran Dragic- Eh.
    Harrison Barnes- Eh.
    Tobias Harris- Eh.
    Paul Milsap- Eh.
    Thaddeus Young- Eh.
    Pau Gasol- Eh.
    Marc Gasol- No thanks.
    Carmelo Anthony- No thanks.
    Hassan Whiteside- No thanks.

There's a number of players that are likely to be good value deals, but who else are we giving a max contract to?
