Well that would solve a lot of problems if Zu all of a sudden started blowing up. He was running the floor well and looking a lot quicker in that footage from the Euro Tournament or wherever it was. And hit shots. And keep getting stronger. Odds against him though .... being really white and not even a 5 o'clock shadow like BroLo.

This sucks. I thought Brook did a fabulous job last year, and fills a need we seem to need right now.

I'm still not believe what Ireland says until we hear something from a more reputable source. Yes, Ireland does play by play for the Lakers but I just don't take him as someone super reliable.

It's his job on the radio to create dialogue and things to talk about, discuss

In an interview last year, Brook said he'd come back for significantly less money if the team was a contender.

If we add Kawhi to the roster, that might get it done.

Doesn't sound above like the Lakers want him back though. There's some good Big centers in the league now and Randle is gone to bang with them so when we need to be big who's going to do that? Zu? Hasn't so far.

I love Brook as much as anyone, but I just feel his speed just doesn’t help what we’re trying to do.

McGee gives us a little more leeway in terms of a big with a little bit of athleticism, but having Brook switch on a point guard is just asking to get exposed.

If anything, we should be searching for a mobile 4 man that can play small ball 5 for us next to Bron. That WAS Randle, but guess we gotta look elsewhere. I like Amir Johnson personally.

My thought is the Lakers are finding out as much as possible about Chris Bosh's health before making a decision. If he's in the clear to play from a doctor then Chris will jump ship and play for us, remember Bosh is only 34 years old he's still a talent you can't miss. Hopefully he's in the clear to play bc i would rather have a healthy Bosh than any other center available now. Maybe we can get both Brook and Chris you never know.

Also Pelinka is Bosh's agent back in the day.

Maybe we haven't heard of anything today with Brook is because we are waiting for the outcome of Capela?

Brook might be waiting on Capela. We really dont have the money to push Capela in any way.

I think that's the same sound bite and source they've been using over and over right?

You can do this Rob. Don't f*** it up. Give us Brook back and we can physically rumble with and dominate most nights every team in the league. If not we get worked by good big men on other teams. Say it Rob ...

With how badly we need outside shooting and Brooks ability to draw a big defender outside and open lanes, then protect the rim on the other end, this should be a no-brainer for us. We already rebound with the best even with Lopez so his weakness is hidden with us. Rockets gonna match any offer for Capela. They were 2 games and an injured C3P away from taking down GSW. No need to rebuild the house there though they need to replace Ariza as well. The signing of Boogie only makes it even more important that they retain Capela.
