Who is up in arms? Keep it together Alcindor. :D

I'm just saying Lonzo is a player that fits absolutely perfectly next to LeBron and is the perfect teammate for stars. He's certainly a reason for LeBron to stay. I agree the injury leak was weird, but it's old news already. Literally the injury is likely healed already as Lonzo was just recently cleared to hit the court.

It was a light-hearted joke about the injury leak timing which was bad, not weird. What, we can't rib our players?

    Dictionary
    up in arms (about/over)
    phrase of arms
    1. 1.
      protesting vigorously about something.
"teachers are up in arms about new school tests"

Literally the only one carrying on right now is you my friend. I'm in way too good a mood to be upset right now.

So put your arms down and celebrate! We're back!

I'm with you my man. Little Baller is about to have a real baller in town. It'll be amazing watching Lavar's reactions out here. :D

You bring up a point that is worthy of a thread on it's own imo though.

I know Zo can play off ball, we saw it. But I also heard a while back (don't know where the reference was) that LBJ said he wouldn't mind not handling the ball not quite as much. I'm just wondering how these two work it out - dual points? Zo @ the 1 and Bron 3 or 4 but also handling a lot of the distributing? It's a good problem to have because worst case..seperate units. But no matter what, Zo has to start knocking down shots. I hope this knee thing doesn't keep him away from at least free throw practice this summer. As well as upper body work.

Yeah I can see that. But I don’t see Lonzo being a massive reason. He is good young player

I'm pretty sure he's already back out there now so I think he's good to go as far as practicing.

I think Ingram for now is the guy who will need to handle the ball more. We've also got Lance now, Kuzma, Randle technically is still on the team. The offense itself is more geared to motion and movement so LeBron won't have to be in a high pick and roll literally every play down the floor anymore. Kawhi obviously would be a perfect complement to LeBron in terms of creating.

James will take so much pressure of Ball who can play off the rock now. Steve Smith on NBA TV wants to see him work on that corner three as he believes James can find him there.

This is going to be enormous for Lonzo's growth. His favorite player of all time is going to become his mentor. Thank you, Magic, you made it happen! He will be challenged every day to become as great as he can possibly be. He has a lot to live up to playing beside his hero.

All these young players also will see in person the physical work that one of the greatest of all time puts in every day to keep his body right. Like Kobe used to do.

I know. He will be running his mouth how LeBron wanted to play with Lonzo and how Lonzo will make LeBron better... Tired of Lavar at this point and max that the media still cares about his babble.

Lonzo desperately needs to be in the gym working on his 3 point shot consistency and free throw shooting.

As someone mentioned, he should be getting more open looks at the 3 now. It was bad enough last year where he would hesitate and pass on open 3s because he knew he shot 30% from the perimeter.... that has to improve.

He also just needs to improve his free throw shooting because 45% from a point guard is historically awful. To put that in perspective how bad that is, Dwight Howard shot 57% last season, DeAndre Jordan shot 58%, Rondo shot 54%.... and Shaq’s career free throw percentage is 52%).

I think it’s a huge problem, and embarrassing quite frankly, that if there was a free throw shooting contest on NBA All Star Saturday Night, and it was Shaq vs Dwight vs Lonzo... odds are that Lonzo comes in last.

I’d really like to hear Lavars excuse on how this is the Lakers coaching/training staffs fault.

This is why LaVar is bringing LaMelo up without that weakness. He will shoot every time the ball is in his hands. Look the hell out NBA.

Ship him out, too much baggage but nothing to back it up with.

    Hopeful thinking I know...

So Rondo signing means Lonzo out and Kawhi on the way?
