I worry this means Lakers are going to be willing to give up more for Kawhi now because they don't want this to happen again next year like PG just did to the Lakers.

What a loser. He definitely takes the “cupcake” mantle away from KD. Bright lights too much for you PG? Good luck with your first round exits.

Who’s gonna watch part 3 of his series now? Oklahomans? Anyway, we REALLY need to land LeBron now, cannot come up empty this summer. At least PG didn’t waste our time and jerk us around I guess.

Like a Paul George jump shot in a clutch playoff game, the Lakers clanked this one.

It's official, PG is resigning with OKC.

Here's my theory explaining how this happened: PG really disliked the Pacers managaement, so he wanted to demand a trade. However, he needed a credible threat to ensure he was traded quickly, so he said he was going to join the Lakers since we happened to have the cap space and he happened to be from around LA. At the time it seemed like a good idea since most people would believe it despite the Lakers being far from competitive.

The trade demand coupled with the threat worked, and PG got himself traded before the start of the season. Westbrook and the OKC management then turned on the charm for a whole season, especially piling on that nonsense of "we took a risk by trading for you", and that PG needs to "finish what he started in OKC". That made him feel wanted by Westbrook and OKC.

Since his heart was never really set on LA, he felt that he really should stick with OKC since they made him happy and were much better than the Pacers. However, those earlier rumors of signing with LA needed to be dealt with, so he created the ESPN special to give him a platform to explain to us why he dramatically changed his mind in the span of one season, and maybe to keep the door open for him coming next season.

Well... onto LeBron, Kawhi, and Cousins...

I was a huge fan of his ever since he entered the league. Paul George is dead to me now. Not even a f***ing phone call. LA is going to boo his cupcake a** out of town.

    Weak. Scared. Greedy. Dumb.

Not worried though. We’ll kill him in the playoffs. His career is over. Rot in OKC lil b

Can’t wait till we play OKC this year. Staples needs to boo the s*** out of this guy every time he touches the ball.

Don’t matter. Even if he signed a one year deal, he’s done. Never want to see him in purple and gold.
