You don’t go through all this trouble, all this production, all the lights, just to announce you’re resigning with OKC.

If he’s looking at GM’s making moves to put he team in contending position, the Lakers have been far the most active to put that together.

Lebron’s gonna show up on the last episode to announce their partnership. I’m putting money on it.

And then Magic shows up between them, "Tamper this".

Which brings to memory, didn't we start hearing about PG to LA right after Magic was hired?

It comes down to whether PG is willing to leave $40MM on the table. That salary structure was designed to do what it is doing in his situation, making it hard for top talent to leave smaller markets for bigger markets. So nothing here is actually surprising, though I would personally be surprised if he left $40MM on the table.

He really cares what people think....so would you rather piss off OKC or a worldwide Laker fanbase? Come home young fella, its time.

Personally, I'm not too worried about that. We've shown to take care of our players when the time comes.

I don’t like how in the video him and his sister or wife was narrating so positively about OkC, and how he has “unfinished business” there.....

Alright I'm convinced. He's coming home.

    Here's why...

You guys ever get a rejection letter from a company or university? What's the first thing on those letters of rejection? It goes something like this:

"Thank you for taking the time to come in and meet the team. We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about you and your background and were really impressed with what you can bring to the table. Unfortunately, the pool of applicants were very competitive this year, so we're going to have to passs on your profile"

Notice how the beginning of it is all positive...almost in a way to placate you before hitting you with bad news. The reason why you do it this way is because in psychology, it's easier for people to cope with being thanked for something first and then gradually work the bad news in. You can't hit them with bad news right away. It doesn't work that way.

With Paul George, this whole first episode was mainly about OKC and what they did for him, and what it meant to him AND his family. He used this first episode to recognize OKC as a great organization with great fans, and a great city. He's doing his level best to give them a good name, and not spurn them like Kevin Durant did. He's basically hitting the bolded part of the above example I gave in part 1...and then he'll start laying the ground work for why he's not staying in parts 2 and 3.

How he'll transition this is that although OKC was great to him, allmost like a second family to him, his priority is being closer to his first family...his parents, sisters, etc...and he may even go into detail of always wanting to play for his hometown...or he'll go into how he always wanted to be the next Kobe (there's a commercial of him doing this btw)

At first i was pissed reading about his part 1 series on twitter...but after watching it? He's coming to LA. It's a done deal.

So playing shoot around at a local church is part of laying the groundwork? I can see that.
