Yes the assumption is we'd get LeBron. If George commits, LeBron will too and vice versa. Now if LeBron didnt commit, sure that changes the equation. And either way, if George picks somewhere other than LA it's a mistake for him in every fashion (with the possible exception of Philly). And Stein is fine, but other reputable reporters including Ramona Shelburne have denied Houston.
Stein is legit...but posting a post-op pic from a LA-based hospital bed confirms OKC is the front runner....now that's a streeeetchhh amirite? Well "his grace" is going to grace the cover of the new 2k game (Bron + PG) ...and George is at the gamer's haven known as E3 where he bumped into a Laker (Bron + PG + Hart)...where they're playing fourtnite (Bron + PG + Hart + 4th knight???) So sorry Stein, but LA is comfortably in the lead....even "stretching" that lead tbh.
This is getting ESPN's national attention now and Ramona (the insider that broke PG to OKC) retweeted it. This got me thinking...has Hart been using Fortnite as a way to slide into them avi's to recruit our superteam? Dude, you the real RoY!
So how long until Hart is fined for tampering? And does Magic scold him and then go and then pay the fine himself.
I read this line a bunch of times over when it was posted yesterday, and I read it over a few times just now. My brain does not compute what Stein is trying to say here. How do these 2 things correlate? Willingness to post Instagram picture after surgery = helps fuel notion that he’s in no rush to leave OKC... ???
i think it means stein and others have begun hearing things from people they trust but aren't ready to give details. these guys are making calls all the time, and his most recent batch probably had more people saying they thought he'd stay than his previous batch. maybe that's nothing, maybe not. man, it would be an epic letdown if we're left with the 2019 plan.
Love Paul - but I can live without him. The bigger piece to all this is James; and I don't know if Paul and Lebron have spoken yet; if LBJ is convinced to come here, he'll be the first one on the phone with Paul before Magic...
I have absolutely no doubt they've already spoken about coming to LA. Whether they've decided on LA is a different story. but they've certainly talked about it.
Hearts tug in July; and emotions can be at the forefront of one's decision; family can be another influential aspect, the prospect of coming home and playing for your favorite team... I have no doubt that when Kevin Durant started his journey (recent example as I can find) he thought he was probably going back to OKC; then the pitch happened in GSW, and over the course of days of probably swaying back and forth, he signed with Golden State. These things have a way of working themselves out; but we'll see...I think Magic will tug on that heart of PG...
This guy is dumber than I thought if he decides to stay in OKC. He'll rot there with Westbrick jacking up all the shots.
