We don't want Paul George, now we want Kuz to be a trade filler. We extend Deng's contract and we're set. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
Trying get that Mamba Mentality... Not there yet because 5:17am, Kobe is already an hour into his work out. But I love that he's working at trying to get to that point.
Haha, I forgot about that. Luke saying he has to get off the phone because of a trade and then laughs telling Kuz we're not trading you. The trade as we know that trade was with Utah to get the 30 - Hart and 42- Thomas.
Congrats to the Kuz for making 1st Team All NBA Rookie. 4th hightest votes after Mitchell, Simmons and Tatum. He should have finished ahead of Tatum since Kuz was the first Rook in league history to hit his point / rebound / assist numbers.
Now he has to defend that title next year and every year after on the Lakers roster (hopefully) ..... against Hart SOTMFDOTL
I was kind a proud of it elsewhere so I'll quote myself (prepping for the LBJ era of The Big Head) ..... if Hart legitimately has the tools and mental game to approach or be a better version of prime Derek Fisher with his higher defensive ceiling .... then Kuz better be coming like young Robert Horry or better.
Stick around for his last 10 seconds (after a good interview) .... news flash .... "(Lonzo's in the weight room here every day and taking it more serious than last year)". "(Helping him get quicker on D and .......)"
I know I'm in the minority here, but I want to go on the record here before people start to realize it. I'm still ranking Kuz as my #1 core player with the most promise to become an All Star. I think he has the drive, perspective, and tools to work on his defense and become better than average. One thing I keep hearing from people around Kuz is that he is very realistic about where he is as a player, so I know he'll dramatically improve all around. I believe he has the skills and mentality and upside to get there. Among a few concerns for the young core, I still have my doubts about Lonzo and Ingram's leadership skills.... I have no doubt about Kuz
He’s not my personal #1, but I still freakin love the kid. Arguably the steal of the draft where he was taken, if not 2nd to only Mitchell, we’d be idiots to trade him.
skills wise my #1 is still Ingram but he is far to quite to be a vocal leader someday, same for ball IMO. So maybe Kuz will lead by both example and speech. Randle if he returns looks more like the type to just get things done rather than instruct or lead.
LOL .... Kyle may be going .... "ahhh Mom.... OK ....shhhhh!" Of course he knows what she sacrificed and how much she supported him to get where he is so it's probably totally cool with him.
