Sucks that a coach will take the fall for his players shrinking in the playoffs. But maybe they wait to see what's Lebron does? If he goes West then they won't see him in the playoffs.
yeah, they'll take the coward's way out instead of making tougher personnel choices. that's a fair point. the mavs got roasted for years for playoff underperformance (when it was really regular season overperformance), then they snuck in and won a title. i might suggest some minor tweaks and retaining the coach as the best possible option. the only issue is lowry's FA. if you have to break the bank, it might be better to explore other options.
The fact that Golden State can make terrible passes turn into miraculous plays is a testament to their offense and scheming. The constant motion and energy from every player makes whatever they do look good. Obviously it helps having Curry, KD, and Klay, but it's crazy how easy they make things look. Then they're able to play top notch defense on top of it, it's ridiculous.
