I watched about an hour of it while also watching the Cavs-Raptors game last night and it was alright. Avery Johnson and KG can sure ramble on a lot, man...

Overall, it was alright. Wish they had more of them sitting in front of the TV watching the game and commenting on it which they did for a while until Avery wanted to demonstrate a defense adjustment on the court (rolls eyes). They also had CJ McCollumn Skype in to say hello and talk a little bit.

This lakers squad is the most likable in years. The druss/swaggy P/jordan hill era had me hating being a laker fan for the first time ever. Kuz/ball/ingram/randle/hart is a great core on and off the court. Minus the BBB stuff

I hope he sounds more polished later, but hey, if you listen to a young Kobe, and you could easily walk away going SMH.

As long as he puts more effort into his game than his choices on fashion, we should be fine.

I have an uneasy feeling he would be a part of any effort to get Leonard. Regardless of whether that is a good or bad move, I want to see this guy develop as a home grown Laker. That was an underlying satisfaction in watching Kobe’s career.

Same here. If the lakers strike out on PG they might get desperate and trade.

The players are soft because the league makes them soft. The second you look at someone wrong its a Flagrant 1.

Adam Silver needs to ease up on some of these rules. Let some guys get into others faces without the refs turning into the gestapo.

Probably doesn't help when the superstars of the league are flailing about, flopping and exaggerating the slightest contact.

They don’t want to see giant men throwing fists 10ft away from the fans. Not a good experience for the fans. I just think the officiating is bad in general. Missed calls and excessive calls, too much either way.

It says something about Kuzma and his game that the TNT crew wanted to bring him on as a 5th commentator during the playoffs.

    This!

If Kang LeBAss is blatantly flopping around like a super team flick without Jason Momoa, then there's no surprise that his merry sea men will look to be Codled by the whistle too.

The NBA stands for No Babying Allowed, right? It should!

Anyways, Kuz and your generation of player...please do us the Justice of reeling this League into what it used to be.

My biggest fear with this new regime and this new team we have. I love Magic and Rob, but they know what the Lakers are predicated on... Blockbuster trades and big name free agent signings... As much as they talk about wanting to take these young guys to the next level, let there be a trade involving any of them for any of the big names in the NBA and these guys are gone in a heartbeat.

But how much more rewarding would it be for us to win championships with the players we drafted, we trained, we watched grow from raw prospect to starter to all star to superstar. Man!

This is why I love this young core and want them to stay and develop. I know I keep bringing up Golden State, but that’s the only example in the NBA of a team that sucked, drafted right, kept players intact, saw the growth of said players into stars and then superstars and then champions. Kevin Durant is just a smart basketball move by the FO, but the team as constructed is homegrown. I sort of want that for the Lakers, but we’ll have to see what happens.

Thx LS85! All I'm really aiming for is a laugh (cue the drum rift)...so that's the award I'm truly seeking (cue the violins).

Seriously tho, Kuz is as close to a keeper as we have. Dude is on a ridiculous team friendly deal....has the demeanor of the Mamba...and wants to strive to be the best. Not to mention Magic loves the kid (#FlintStones) and I just have a tough time with LA throwing this guy into a trade...even for Kawhi. Kawhi's physicals would have to check off and even then, I see LA going the route of doing anything they can, not to include Kuz in a deal (ie parting with Hart, multiple picks, etc.).

Either way, dude will never be part of a Deng dump and will only be outbound if a star is heading inbound. So I'm confident our FO ain't going to mishandle Kuzmania.

Makes you wonder why BI wouldn't reach out to Kobe... Could have done so last year too. Same for Randle... who he actually played with.

Did anyone else Notice Kuz said he's had dinner with Kobe a couple of times?

Do we know that they haven’t? I know that Randle has reached out and worked with Worthy, so that counts for something.

Well, we certainly would have heard about it by now. Much like we’ve heard of Kuz’s dinner.

No sense to make it so clandestine, you know...
