ugh i was hoping the PG in OKC era ended tonight looks like there will be a game 6. just close this thing out already utah
I think Westbrook read the comments on the last few pages and decided to give an answer through his perfomance today!
Completely agree. PG as the best player on a team is a bit disappointing, but as the second best - great!
I’m glad Westbrook got to go supernova for a half in the playoffs. He deserves it for all the effort he puts in on a nightly basis and his loyalty to his teammates and team. He gets the same amount of hate that Kobe use to get for having a by any means necessary mentality.
Utah...13-38 from 3 You live by the 3 and die by the 3. Rudy/Favors foul trouble, meanwhile Steven Adams had 1 foul called against him...ball game. Utah better bring it on Friday, otherwise a young inexperienced team coming back to OKC for a game 7 could be trouble. Russ and George just played 44 minutes each and these games come every other day from now on, so can OKC sustain this for another 2 games? Don't get cute Utah...close this s*** out on Friday.
Adams was in foul trouble for last two games where OKC looked real bad. I think whoever gets the other teams bigs in foul trouble will win out from here. Utah with Gobert are a heck of a defensive team!
I meant more with the fact that they don’t care about their FG% like other players. Russ led OKC back from one of the largest deficits in playoff history to record a win. And some people are still b****ing that he shot 17/39. What I would say back to those people, is Kobe knew that a wins a win - 5 rings says go **** your FG%.
Oh .... here we are ... the real jinxer. I knew it wasn't me. Thought there was a case to be made for sirron's fault. But it was actually Jaguar.
Are you saying it becomes OK for the Lakers to talk to PG or his manager before the official start at that 12:01AM start time with no contract discussed? Or the players themselves only can talk if they want to hook up somewhere?
With OKC eliminated you can start to enter trade discussions for George. Mintz can get permission from OKC for LA to talk to George on "trade scenarios" and possible extension numbers if a trade was to be had. Bron and George can talk about partnering up anytime they want without tampering charges, but they're most likely to do something like that after their current teams have been eliminated. In an article this year, CP3 said as much in that he had talked to Harden and Morey (probably not legal and considered tampering, but of course the league don't care unless its the Lakers) after the cLips were eliminated last year. That's how he decided to opt into his final year and leveraged the cLips to force a trade to Houston BEFORE the July moratorium...technically the cLips still had his rights, so no way is Morey allowed to talk to CP3 without getting permission from the cLips FO.
Wesbtrook and PG no joke scored all of OKC's points their leading scorer after those two was melo with a whopping 7 pts
Utah should get more favorable calls at home on Friday. Seriously OKC was 1 loss away from not making the playoffs. I still remember that Russ 3 pointer that won them the game in Sacramento. You lose that game, you're out of the playoffs. OKC is that mutated cockroach that just won't die. The craziest s*** happens and they just happen to skate on by. If Utah doesn't finish the job on Friday, I can totally see OKC's corpse of a roster limp into the 2nd round, where they'll have another go at it.
Utah better end this in 6. It's 6 or toast for them at this point. They take this to seven and they'll look like wet puppies. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
