If Zo misses the rest of the season...he will have missed 30 fricking games as a rookie.

He needs to fix his fricking diet and get a lot stronger this summer. We can't have him consistently missing 30 games a year...that was the problem we had with D-Lo and I'm not willing to go through that again with Lonzo too

you know how many games the 76ers rookies have missed the last 3-4 years.

I'm not worried about Zo and his injuries yet.

It has become easier in the NBA to collect triple doubles. A lot of players get some triple double these days. The 3 ball is to blame.

We have less big men in the NBA, so smaller players who could get assists and points but struggled to get rebounds can now get them. And the 3 ball has led to more long rebounds (which favors guards) and higher amount of assists (since most 3s are assisted while ISOs were not) and the pace has gone up...more shots, more assists and more rebounds...

overall it has become ordinary somewhat to get a triple double. Westbrook has changed the perception that it is special to get a TD.

All great points. If Magic was playing today, he could very well average 24, 13, and 12.

Per Magic, Zo and Kuz will not partake in summer league this year. Hart and TB, however, will.

They obviously know more than me, but I still think his shooting form/pace of shot needs to change. Magic alluded to Zo needing more balance and confidence in his shot as well as FTs.

You want him out there potentially getting injured in Summer League? Why? He showed more than enough. It's more important for him to be in the weight room or working on his FT%. I don't need him getting rolled up playing against the Dwight Buyckses of the world.

You've been wrong about that for a time now. They're not going there with changing his shot fundamentally at this point. Helpful tweaks .... sure. Wow that sounded harsh. ;) :D

He better be in the effing gym all summer getting stronger so he can prevent injuries next year. Ridiculous that he missed 30 games this year.

Hate to do ya like this, Zo, but LT made me do it.

Rankings are out of 530 (30 teams, 15 man roster with 2 two-way players = 17; 30 x 17 = 510 with roughly 20 some odd players that are partially retired or playing overseas getting added throughout the season).

Zo's played in 52 games and avg. 34.2 mins per game, so I'll use 50 games and 30 mins as my cut-offs and it makes sense cause you need more minutes to really develop a shooting rhythm anyways. So this eliminates any possible outliers and players who did not at least have the playing time that Zo had. So lets see how Zo did...

FG% = shot 36% on 10.8 attempts per game and ranked 469th (dead last among players that played at least 30 mins per game).

3FG% = shot 30.5% on 5.7 attempts per game and ranked 324th (10th worst among players that played at least 30 mins per game); only ahead of centers that did not attempt 3s ie 0% like Drummond, DeAndre and Dwight, frontcourt players like Aldridge and Dray and only ahead of wing players like TJ Warren (avg. 1.4 attempts per game), Shroeder (avg. 4 attempts per game), Westbrick (avg 4 attempts) and Marcus Smart (avg. 4.6 attempts per game).

FT% = shot 45.1% on 1.4 attempts per game and ranked 486th (dead last among players that played at least 30 mins per game and at least 50 games in the season). In fact the 2nd and 3rd worst FT% shooters is Steven Adams (55.7%) and Ben Simmons (56%)...one is a lumbering center with no jumpshot and the other is a point forward with no 3ball....they both shot better FREE throws than Zo. Say it ain't so, Zo.

True Shooting% = 44.4% and ranked 474th (dead last among players that played at least 30 mins per game and at least 50 games in the season).

Effective FG% = 44% and ranked 446th (dead last among players that played at least 30 mins per game and at least 50 games in the season).

Nah bruh...that's wrong and yall been wrong in trying to defend it.

If not an overhaul in form, he still needs to change something, cause ball don't lie!

TLDNR. Where's sirron's gif? :D Unnecessary. I agree with you. But it's going to be "minor" help to him and suggestions and tweaks. They aren't going to take that bad boy away from his wack left shoulder release motion which seemed to be what you were alluding to . A more drastic shake up for his shot. Better now when he's young sort of thing. Just the impression I got anyway. And just jerking your chain anyway.

Dang, that has to be a historically bad performance.
