Luke is super pissed at the refs, being extremely sarcastic in his presser, I like it. Brought up multiple “rules” the refs informed him on that he wasn’t aware of, he “learned some new things”. Apparently if a player hits another player in the face unintentionally it’s now not a foul, and if a player on defense hits the rim when the ball is on it, but not the ball, that’s ok.
I loved that and did laugh out loud. Good sarcasm all the way. I freaking hated the refs jobbing us tonight.
Is there a clip? Never mind: http://www.nba.com/lakers/video/teams/lakers/2018/03/31/2025813/1522475583152-postluke180330-2025813
I wasn't a fan of the refs at all. The let Giannis do whatever he wanted, push whoever he wanted, hit whoever he wanted, but we couldn't get a call without Ingram getting a f***ing concussion? Awful. Just awful.
Given last night's refereeing debacle, it makes me wonder if they get performance reviews and the missed calls are brought up. I assume they would be... Right now, there is an ongoing trend about them, more so than I can remember.
I know Luke was annoying to begin the year with the whole Randle fiasco, but man oh man, i am so happy to have this guy as our coach and not stupid Byron Scott!!! Luke has gotten these guys to believe AND play defense. Luke is developing into a fine young coach. We finally have our Brad Stevens guys...let's see what Luke can do going forward. Great 2nd year as a coach though to improve the team the way he has (and weather the storm with all these injuries).
:Headbang: Did Zen sorta just get the 1st LB equivalent of a statue at Staples? His own @sirronstuff action gif?
