That ankle injury was expected after the heavy minutes he's been playing. Shut anyone worth a damn down and call it a season.
Yeah. It's been a surprising, entertaining, roller-coaster season for Kyle and the Lakers. Til next season KuzGod. Keep tweeting and have a rest. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
Picture a stronger Kuzma next year with better handles and a lot more footwork and moves after spending a few days (or more?) with Kobe over the summer. Why would Kuz not ask him? Kobe told Nance and Clarkson he was here for them after they were traded. Kyle's a bright dude and has to know that that would be the ticket for sure with improving in those areas.
I can see him adding a post game, which will really turn heads, especially with that hook shot of his. I’d much rather him focus on defense and his free throw shooting, but any improvement is good.
Kuz suggesting that the Lakers play a game at the Fabulous Forum next season. Gotta love it. He is what this City and organization needs. Understands his Lakers history. Unfortunately I fear he may end up in the Spurs if Kawhai ever decides he wants out. As a side, I wish the Lakers could move back to the Forum. Lakers on one side (Manchester), and the wak a** clippers on the opposite side (Century) with their own stadium.
I always loved the Forum. Never cozied up to the Staples. Forum was loud and raucous with a fun crowd. Staples always left me cold when I've gone. Too quiet, too bright, too posh.
USA Today's Amick and Zillgitt just revealed their end of year votes for player awards and both voted in Kuz as a 1st team all-rookie nba'er w/Zo getting voted onto the 2nd team. Btw, other than #FutureLakers, the other notable present Laker to be mentioned was Jules for most improved player, but they both voted for Oladipo.
As much as I would like to see Ball on 1st team I can see why he wouldn't over Lauri. He was just out too many games despite being real bright when he was on the court for the most part. Lauri also never missed considerable time.
