Melo and PG have combined for 0-22 from 3 the past two games.

I'm not surprised with Melo but PG is disturbingly bad these past several weeks.

OKC do realize they're royally screwed without Paul George's 3pt shooting come playoffs, right? He's their only legit shooter and the main reason why Westbrook and Adams can freely operate inside. Without it, defenders will crowd the paint.

I'm beginning to believe they could really be a 1st round exit.

Just based off his shoes alone it would seem his mind is somewhere else at the moment.

I like that OKC is losing a bit down the stretch but I don't like that it's because PG13 has gone ice cold and looked TERRIBLE down the stretch.

Just going to have to hope that if he plays with our young guns, his numbers will go up....and him being the No.1 Option will also result in him being more comfortable with the shots he gets.

If you look at George historically, he goes through these ups and downs over a season. He averages one star, one decent and one poor game per 3. Where he really turns it up is the playoffs and he plays like a star the whole time.

It’s always been a frustrating factor with him.

I think overall George is an overrated player.

He is very good offensively and great defensively. He is an all-star in the NBA. But he is at best the second best player on a championship team. Looking at GS, he would have to be the 3rd or 4th best player for us to beat them.

    Durant
    Curry
    Klay
    Green

    just unfair.

Yeah the Lakers will take him but I don't think he's moving the needle that much in the wins column .

Butler has a bigger impact imo whereas both players are considered at the same level ( more or less) by most medias

It all depends on who they are replacing though. Butler took the place of pure and utter garbage. It was also the same year KAT entered year 3 (the year players typically make a huge leap). As much crap as we give KCP, he's better than what Minny had last season at shooting guard/small forward opposite Wiggins. I still think adding PG to this roster (and slightly better luck health wise) has us fighting for the 8th seed this season, which technically means we're fighting for the 4th seed in this weird clustered season.

I'm almost certain come playoffs, PG will turn from overrated to underrated real quick. Numbers may not support it but his overall game all of a sudden is just different in postseason.

Although I agree, he's a bit lazy, inconsistent and disinterested in a lot of stretches of the regular season.

EDIT: While you see most 'stars' stat-pad with ease against lotto teams, this guy usually makes a Houdini act in those games. Confusing.

Yeah to me overrated or underrated in regards to Paul George honestly doesn't matter. He's better than anyone on our team today and his presence would help us be a playoff team. So many games we've lost down the stretch and one All-Star caliber player would have turned it around. He's that player. If all we leave with this summer is George and the rest of our FAs (maybe without Isaiah), then I'm happy.

So what you're saying is, you prefer to play where your body is nice and warm? Some place that has plenty of sun. Got it!

Alexa, what's the weather like in Oklahoma City?
*Cloudy, with a chance of showers.*

Alexa, what's the weather like in L...
*75 degrees and sunny. Paul, stop asking me what you already know.*

I’m not too excited about PG like I was at the beginning of the season, seems a little too passive at times. I think BI is getting really close to what he offers. But under the circumstances we need experienced help.

PG isn’t that closer, he shoots bad in the clutch. He has never been the kind to take over games in the 4th.

In fact he isn’t a great scorer in general. But he is star because of his two way ability. Good scorer and great defender. What sets him apart is how he competes in the playoffs. Really brings it!

Finally somebody else thinks what I’ve always privately thought about PG. I just have never seen what all the hype is about. He couldn’t lead a pretty talented Pacer team in the sorry lEastern conference. Don’t get me wrong, I’d take him. He’d be an upgrade over KCP. But if he didn’t come I wouldn’t lose much sleep over it either. Just my personal opinion.
