It’s his best role on offense.

I haven’t paid enough attention to comment on defense

It started off looking good, but the metrics aren’t favorable at this point.

You mean he is better off as a PG? that would be interesting.

Lonzo-ish game all around. 14-7-5 with poor shooting and a team best +12.

Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said that he "loves" D'Angelo Russell's shot selection.

Prior to February 7, catch-and-shoot 3s accounted for 13.1% of Russell's shot attempts. Since then, he's bumped that up to 30.1 percent in his last 15 games, hitting them at a 43.1% clip. He's also taking less pull-up 3s (he's only hitting those at a 30% clip) which explains why he's been so effective lately. "I love that he’s shooting the catch-and-shoot much more," Atkinson said. "He’s getting to the rim more, his finishing is improving. A lot of good stuff there.

Russ has a triple double - and the Nets are again struggling but in the game late.

he threw up a crazily bad shot down the stretch in that one. but still, he seems to be rounding into form a bit.

He sometimes forgets that you don’t HAVE to nail a three to win games. He got into the paint a lot, too, and simply missed. Shot like crap.

    Great game...awful game...great game...awful game...great game....awful game.

I seriously do not even understand how that is possible. Either you have the talent or you don't and he clearly does. So why is he sooo amazingly inconsistent.

When he is bad, he is borderline useless and when he is good, he is like borderline dominant.

But its not possible to find a satisfying reason why that is...

the same way some games he is all about making plays for others and some other games he is all about jacking up shots.

I would have to assume its a mental thing, whatever it is.
