Benching him would better I guess. I mean, have him come off the bench. If not for that ankle, they could've stretched him to 43-45 mins in this game. That's insane considering they have a game tomorrow. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
I’d choose to win this game all day. Winning at GS would be much more difficult anyway. Plus, Kuz was able to play extra tonight because it hasn’t fully swelled yet. Tomorrow he’ll be incapacitated.
An X-Ray isn't really helpful for a sprained ankle. The damage to ligaments is unlikely to show up and any excessive swelling can throw off readings. The best thing to do is ice, wrap, elevate, and see if there's enough reduction in swelling to get an MRI tomorrow or tonight. I wouldn't expect him to play tomorrow, but young people heal fast sometimes. We'll see.
There you go Kuz, haven't seen a game like that from him in awhile and we needed it. Carried us in the 3rd and kept it going in the 4th.
Is there some new info that says BI is possible for tonight? I thought he wasn't even to the level of practicing yet?
Well, he's traveling with the team. Not sure if that means anything though. I don't think Ingram is playing.
What a game by Kuzma. He kept us in it for sure and we needed it from him when the offense got really stagnant in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Love that this guy is just a GAMER. I hope we don't dump him with Deng and he's on this team next year.
Not a chance in hell. This guy has high ceiling. Right now, he's streaky. The moment consistency kicks in, we're looking at a 20ppg sophomore especially with that stable shooting form. I can see him and PG be our snipers next season. And we would need more snipers, not lose one. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
Luke mentioned it post game but he thought it had to do with The Rock talking to the team at the practice facility earlier in the game. I guess Kuzma is a big wrestling fan, so he looked up to him quite a bit.
I also thought his defense was the most underated part of his game last night. Even though he only scored 2 points in the first half he was everywhere on defense and held Chandler in check, before he finally got going in the 2nd half.
