I can't picture what play you're talking about, do you have a clip maybe?

I have the game recorded so that is how I backtracked to it. I had a hard time finding a clip so I just recorded this on my phone just now, haha

This starts with Ingram shooting his last free throw from the 2 shot foul he received on the play winslow crashed into him KCP had shot the techical FT. You notice ingram is fine but at the 24 second mark he comes up hobbling from the close out.

He probably was trying to keep going after the injury like most players do and couldn't get any power behind his close out so he asked to be taken out.

The injury definitely took place on the Winslow hit.

This is what it looks like to me as well. Ingram is a tough kid and tried to fit it out but the effort to close out was too much and he decided he needed to come out. It's possible the push off exacerbated the issue as well.

That's fair. I'm not disagreeing that he didn't get hurt on the Winslow's play even though I make that assumption by the title of the video. But I think he definitely caused most of the damage/pain on the close out.

Either way we're splitting hairs here. I just wanted us to review, take a closer look at his injury to see what really happened. I'm still kind of confused on whether its a groin strain or hip flexor strain even though the latest MRI said its a groin strain.

I don't think it was a hip flexor strain, I think they released the wrong injury. I believe it was always a left groin strain, it seems to fit better into what I'm seeing.

However, it is possible he also had a hip flexor strain and/or injuring his groin and trying to continue he also strained his hip. But just based on what I saw in the game and with your video, I'm not really seeing a hip flexor strain.

OX would approve of him toughing it out and possibly making it worse, so props there BI. Though he was a puss because it was too sore to play the next game.

I’m going to assume they’re all a bunch of ******* unless Ox tells me otherwise.

I still can’t believe Julius sat out a year with “a broken leg”

    The kids these days...

Ya its too bad. Russell was the same. As was Nance.

We have not had any serious injuries thank god but too many little injuries. Mostly young players not taking proper care of their body, not eating the way they should and not having the strength and muscle to survive an NBA season against bigger, stronger, faster players with all the travelling etc.

Winslow was probably pretty salty seeing as how much better BI has looked compared to him as both were highly regarded former dukies.
