If I'm deciding between LeBron and Julius, I'm picking LeBron a million times in a row for so many reasons. I really hope we find a way to not have to ask that question.
It's amazing how many Lakers fan don't want LeBron. Do you think that would change if he was 3-4 years younger? On topic, Julius is a beast, and I really do hope he is here for a long time.
I think that would help some cases, but would also make other cases a whole lot worse. A few years ago, LeBron was even more hateful.
Offensively Randle is pretty automatic right now. Seems like he is as consistent as it gets. Like I can already see him make 8 of 13 FGs the next game and grab 8 rebounds. He still needs work on rounding out his game. The D and the shooting. I'm eager to see what teams throw at him this summer.
His efficiency at the rim right now is crazy. Yeah, he misses an easy one here and there, but for the most part if he gets a pass in the paint, on the break, or an offensive board under there, it’s an automatic layup. Where in previous seasons he was putting a weird side spin on his shots around the hoop and missing gimmes, he’s now making layups perfectly off the backboard, or not even bothering with that and just dunking on everyone. He pretty much has to go after boards by himself when Lopez is out there too just standing and watching, getting his 2 or 3 boards that bounce right to him per game, so credit for that.
Julius could use some help battling the offensive boards to get his offense. I think Bryant would be really helpful based on his energy and effort. But he is young still and may not know the nuances.
Randle as a starter is averaging 17.4/9.1/3.3 in 28.5 minutes. So he's pretty much a 20/10/4 guy. A lot of folks were doubtful that he'd ever be that kind of player, but Julius has arrived at the young age of 23. Still tons of room to grow. Future allstar imo.
Future "all star talent". I could give a crap about the votes. But in L.A. so many of our guys would have shots going forward.
Savory@center > Kareem and Shaq in their prime Too bad we don't have the cap space to sign such a talent.
