Definitely interesting. Love doesn't seem to fit into their family group at all, but we'll see what that means. Some guys are just like that, but can operate fine on the court. I don't like everyone being bosom buddies anyway.
Eh, LeBron pushed Harden to the floor just before that, they're both douches. I'll be annoyed/pissed if either of them win MVP, but it's hard to argue that Harden hasn't carried his team. LeBron on the other hand, I feel does things to help the narrative. Like sitting out a game to show how bad the team is without him and of course they lost. Coach's decision my a**, leBron is crafty.
But he had to take all those shots because his team didn't help. And he those free throws because he was tired by caring the team the entire game.
So after Bron went nutts and barely beat the Warriors the media went nutts on how he "got tired of letting others have the MVP spotlight." Does that mean tomorrows shows will be all about MVP-Harden? I mean son made the plays against the greatest and his crew when it mattered. Even going so far as to kick the Kangs in the his lil Kang. If Bron won the MVP against GS then Beard must of just taken it from him.....right?
" Looking in the mirror tonight after a tough lost of my part like You're your biggest challenge, competition, drive, obstacle, motivation, etc so it's nothing u haven't seen before! Back in the lab tomorrow to continue the drive to striving to be the Greatest I've ever seen!#StriveForGreatness" What even is that sentence?... He capitalized "Greatest"
LMAO... We had a great convo on Lebron, Harden and the likes during the GD chat the other day. I have been critical of Lebron cause I think his Greatest Ever talk is more media driven than what is actually what he is giving us. This guy misses two freethrows (it happens) but instead of saying "I just blew it, I'm pissed about that but we move on." He has got to go with the "I gotta get back in the lab and work on it" line. WTF dude its a free throw and you are the "greatest" and now we get a picture of him in front of a mirror looking somber after the loss? LMAO... Awesome.
^ You think Kobe or MJ would ever run to instagram after choking at the line like that and try selling that? [If social media was then what it is today] Bron seems like he cares more about image and branding than the game itself. Always has. Always will. Pathetic.
Narcissist: 1.a person who is overly self-involved, and often vain and selfish. 2. Psychoanalysis. a person who suffers from narcissism, deriving erotic gratification from admiration of his or her own physical or mental attributes.
I think somewhere a fridge is missing its magnetic poetry letters. Just read the sentence out in an Ultimate Warrior voice and it all makes sense. It must be the roids taking over his cerebral cortex. Poor Warrior, and pathetic narcissistic Lebron.
Short answer: yes. The media is constantly talking about how big games against the best teams or against fellow MVP candidates later in the season are games they look at when voting. About how leBron beat this team, or Curry choked against that team. Hell, I remember many saying Kobe locked up his only MVP by beating CP3 and the Hornets the last time they played in '08. Well today Harden got one against leBron, so I believe that helps his case. Personally I'll wanna puke if either one of them wins though. Going by the criteria I prefer, and not the actual one they go by (best player, best team), Westbrook was making a huge case for mvp before he got injured. Dude was averaging nearly a triple-double in February.
Good God, listening to the radio this morning was terrible. A couple quotes, paraphrasing a little. "Lebron didn't choke, it's not like he has been making free throws 100%, hes a career 75%, he can miss a few." "Michael Jordan has missed game winners, now LeBron can't miss them?" "He didn't choke, he wasn't anxious, it was just a regular season game, why would he be anxious and nervous." There's a difference between missing a game winning jump shot and missing freethrows, defense. No one is guarding you on free throws and he missed 2 that would have given them the lead with seconds left. He choked. Just a regular season game, but if the cavs would have won they would be talking so much about how lebron just beat two players that are in the running for the MVP trophy. If it was anybody else the story today would be about how they choked at the line and lost the game.
The person that said he wasn't anxious and it being a regular season game is right. We all know Lebron would have cramped up and left the game if it was the NBA Finals.
LeBron running to social media after failing to hit free throws is just a perfect example of this guy's life. The first story that would have been written about Kobe if/when he missed those free throws is about how he woke up at 3 in the morning and went to a court to shoot 1000 free throws before practice. LeBron may have taken some extra free throws after the game or whatever, but it's not the first thing people talk about because it's not the most important thing to LeBron. Not everyone has to be Kobe, but no one should be LeBron.
