Lavar is starting to worry me, not because he is saying all this crap, but because Lonzo isn't saying anything back. There's loving your father and wanting to be respectful and thankful for all he's done for you...and then there's being weak. Lonzo not telling his Dad to can it is starting to reflect on Lonzo's character. He already seems passive and non assertive on the floor at times. The fact that this is happening off the court worries me that he's a patsy.

My only concern is team chemistry (seems to have banded the group together) and how it impacts free agency (to be determined).

Lets just call it as it is...Zo has a family friend as his agent, but its actually Lavar that's the de facto agent. He is the agent for all his BBB clients (his sons). So instead of backroom deals and negotiations with upper management, Lavar's big a** mouth is doing it publicly knowing that its not only good to seek his demands for his clients but to also create more buzz and attention in establishing his BBB brand. This is what agents do, but not as loudly and attention seeking as Lavar.

That being said, in 3 years or possibly sooner depending on how Zo looks next to 2 stars, we could use him to go nab a 3rd star and I wouldn't lose much sleep over it either. I personally would rather bring in Shaq's son.

However, I do prefer Zo sticking and just hitting the mute button on his pops....but if he forces our hand, we do have options and plenty of time to make them.

Detailed article about LaVar and Zo from Ramona. Some of the quotes (gives an insight into BBB's problems and Lonzo's loyalty):

I meant pansy. Not sure why I typed patsy. :D

Although he is being taken advantage of by his father, per the patsy definition. :D

Now he's insulting media members because they aren't on his level

One dude has a big forehead and no business intellect and no one watches his show. One is fat and can only give you advice on snacks. One won't stay in her lane. What's next Lavar? Is this how Big Ballers act?

What's next is this news. Rather than having to play in Lithuania both his kids could have stayed in school and attended UCLA. Gelo next year with his suspension lifted could have had a chance to play with a real big baller out of high school. Shareef O'Neal has committed to UCLA. That's pretty cool for all you alumni to have him to watch next year. Then if Gelo had stayed in school the NBA execs would have had a hard choice of who to take first from Westwood .... him or O'Neal.

Dammit LT, this thread was drifting off into obscurity. Ah well, I look forward to watching Shaq’s son at UCLA next season.

    How much for 16oz?

$5? Hey were there ever any reports on how many $200 dollar autographs Zo signed or the size or lack of it of the crowd that day?

...this is news. Last I saw was him being a guest on TNT and announcing he had committed to Arizona. Future Laker at the 3-4 spot?

Shareef looks interesting. He's smaller and slimmer than his dad of course, but surprise, surprise he's athletic. He's a 4 star recruit I think (which is around where LaMelo Ball was if I remember correctly).
