agreed, sucks that this is now 3 games in a row against OKC that we don't get to showcase Lonzo in front of PG. Not good.
i think the plan must be to lose to okc by a combined 1000 points, then point to lonzo's absence in those games as evidence of his value while we're begging george this summer. yeah, that's the ticket.
I'm very annoyed by how long he's been out...and I hate not being prepared for it either. Lakers medical staff has to be the worst in the league when setting time tables for players to come back from injuries...2 games turns into 20.
I don't mind the Lakers being cautious, its smart. I just think its bad luck or whatever you want to call it that our main guy we want to sign can't seem to see Zo play in person.
Yeah I'm also super pissed off that each time we've played OKC, we've been blown the eff out AND PG13 has yet to see Ball play! Oh, and we happen to face OKC twice in one week so I doubt Ball is back for that game too...meaning PG13 will have gone a whole season without seeing Ball play up close
my opinion splits the difference: he's frail, and that's a problem. but i don't think he's "soft", nor am i interested in seeing his toughness displayed in the form of playing on an injured knee in a useless game in his first season.
You should tweet to his old man .... the trainer who "knows basketball" so well on how ill equipped Lonzo was coming to the pros. Not really disagreeing with you.
MCL sprain is nothing to take lightly. He needs to get to 100% and not risk re-injury. Ligaments are slow to heal, that's just the truth of it.
He's 19 and his injuries are caused by external trauma, not chronic or degenerative issues. As he gets older, he'll get stronger and these types of injuries will hopefully decrease. I'm not worried. It does suck he's not playing though.
Apparently the Lakers FO thought he was iron man because they signed Tyler Ennis as a backup PG . As for Zo, no matter what the justifications could be , it's a bad early sign .
yes and yes. still angry at the FO for ignoring our pg issues to start the season (#twomaxes), and there's no positive way to spin lonzo likely missing a quarter of his rookie year.
Starting to forget this guy is even on the team. What was a shaky start to zo’s career was then considered to be a great pick, but now is becoming a health concern. This franchise needs some good luck.
Could have been Markelle Fultz? https://www.google.com/amp/s/clutch...ses-three-practice-free-throws-row-badly/amp/
