Ennis just needs to go. If there is any way to trade for a quality backup PG for the short term, I do it. I like Caruso, but even starting we are in trouble because then who backs him up? If it’s JC that puts Hart at SG and gets Brewer back in the lineup, and I’m not a big fan of that. The Caruso, JC, Hart, Kuzma, Nance/Randle thing has been working.
Ennis has proven he's not an NBA player. Caruso deserves a full contract and should be playing more minutes. I'd definitely love to use another backup guard besides Ennis. I'd almost prefer to give Gary Payton II the shot.
There's some passes he throws and especially up court that look like he's picked up some of Lonzo's style a "bit". The team plays with him out there more like they play when Lonzo's out there than they do with Ennis. Master of the obvious here. Glad to see him getting the bulk of the minutes with Zo out over Ennis.
I like that he plays with a chip on his shoulder, like no one expects him to do well. Keep at it AC, maybe you’ll end up our future backup after all.
I would love if he could keep this up and develop into our backup point. Helps save money in a position of need. He rushed things when he got minutes early in the season, but has settled down and is helping us win ballgames.
rapid fire: there's anthony brown! milton doyle...nba player? trey burke and james young like...thanks?
Solid minutes from him again tonight, 2 blocks and a steal. Should never shoot threes though, form is flat and awful.
Played in control mostly...turnover dribbling it off his foot. Timely interior passes for a couple scores. Shockingly had a couple of blocks.
