admittedly, i haven't watched many nets games, but when i have dinwiddie has been their best player by a good margin. and they've been competitive in those games. why did det let him go?

Not enough playing time behind Reggie Jackson, Ish Smith and Avery Bradley?

He’s a quality defender, too. Could set a good tone up top. Two-way PGs are invaluable.

Spencer Dinwiddie is one of the best names ever.

You just gotta have game if you go onto the court, with a name like Spencer Dinwiddie.

He has always looked solid, like someone that could slot into a Jerry Sloan coached Jazz team. Injured or not, suddenly Brooklyn is awash with Point Guards.

So apparently he got a Tech while not even playing, sarcastically clapping at refs.

Jeez, this kid needs to grow up already.

refs do seem a bit out of control lately, but I wonder if it's the approach the NBA is taking on calling them out after the fact. Maybe they just lost so many good refs to retirement.

But either way, he's not even on the court. He should be keeping his nose clean. I agree it's not a good look when the perception of him is what it is.

Tons of rust, but he’s back. Looking forward to seeing how he finishes this season. And he was +4, and the Nets won.

Rooting for the Nets to succeed, especially with Jah there with him now.

not to mention that every nets win is a potentially worse pick for CLE

Another rough night shooting, but the Nets are two wins away from last season's total.

Actually you don't want the Nets to be TOO good because then it validates the C's trading the pick AND it increases the chances of the Cavs TRADING the pick to improve their team and potentially bring in a superstar to help LeBron. We don't want that scenario happening. Best thing is the Nets suck and the Cavs are incentivized to keep the pick and build around that player.

Russ had a stretch where he looked great. That was the good news. Bad news is a lot of TO and a loss.
