Am starting to umm ..... expect those 3 balls to drop now. Got to be in high 30 maybe 40% range in this span since he started hitting them with the higher frequency.
I am amazed by the amount of calm and order he adds to our game. As a rookie. His ability to control both ends of the floor is not going unnoticed. People do pay attention and the narrative is beginning to change. That impacts players' decisions.
Is a tipped rebound pass counted as an assist? Just rhetorical coz his teammates continue to waste those as usual...
Gonzo (I've given up with spellcheck) is one hell of an athlete. Love watching the split second smart basketball decisions he makes on offense and defense and how he moves on the court. Not Kobe but Kobe like grace. If he stays healthy his second half of his rookie season is going to be something to watch. Love this player. Maybe jus a lil homo.
Lonzo is awesome. It troubles me a little that I may replace Kobe with another favorite player so soon.
The feel and basketball instincts are just insane. 20 years old Edit: @Weezy great minds think alike, haha posted at the same time.
^Ball sees the floor a step or two ahead of the defense. Was not surprised at that play when I saw it. Ball knew where Pope was.
Be excited. Some teams dream of having franchise type players of his talent level, let alone, one that will most likely stay a Laker his entire career.
Greg Anthony (hire this guy) reiterated several times how Lonzo's passes are right on the money where teammates catch it in rhythm...
ill admit im not a Zo fan (for now) but this is the 1st player we've had where i can overlook his shooting %...his impact goes beyond stats even with good stats (minus fg%)...but laker haters can only focus on the fg% to keep calling him a bust, theyll run out of "reasons" soon enough though to start eating crow
