No Kobe probably knows it's easy to build around the NBA's golden boys. See: LeBron and Wade. Harden is carrying my fantasy team by the way. Go Harden!
Westbrook has been tearing things up lately. For this month, he's averaging: 29.5 ppg 10.1 apg 8.2 rpg 61.7 TS%
Westbrook has been insane lately. He's also been less iso and more about moving the ball. OKC's offense has looked a lot better lately compared to before.
Rondo shouting match with Carlisle during the game...and in the locker room afterwards. Rondo suspended for one game.
I really like the addition of Enes Kanter to the Thunder. He adds a dimension I don't think the Thunder have had before being that he could post up on the block right or left side and go to work; he's good at drawing FT's and has a jumper that extends out past the FT line. Sure, he's a mess on the defensive side, but there's usually Ibaka back there protecting the rim or Adams when he comes back from injury. Augustin is another addition that I liked a lot. He comes in and provides a steady presence for the bench, he could penetrate, drive and dish, shoot well, has a nice floater when he gets into the lane, etc...the Thunder are built to go on a deep playoff run, IMO.
I agree, they probably have the best roster right now. But will they be able to gel in time? That's a lot of new players taking big roles, and the playoffs are only 3ish months out.
Watching a bit of Memphis/Minnesota tonight. Wiggins is looking a lot better. He has 8 points in about 13 minutes so far. Looking at basketball reference, in the last 10 games he is averaging 17.5 ppg and shooting 47%. Not bad. Wolves look confident with KG back on the team too.
Watching this bulls-clipps game. Two takeaways: Jordan's 17 first half rebounds was damn impressive. Snell is really coming on for the Bulls at the right time. It started in the second half of Jan and last month he averaged nearly 14 a night.
Jimmy Butler out the rest of the game with elbow strain, gg. I'm all for that JSM, when did the Bulls draft him?
Hate both teams, but the final minutes of regulation of this rockets-cavs game has been entertaining. Great D by Ariza on Bron forcing OT
One of the worst no calls I've ever seen. It was a foul on one of them, then a travel and the ref was right next to them. Embarrassing.
