Then open your eyes Paul to the quality of young buck skilled 20-23 year old players we have who all are improving tremendously over the next season or two while GS wins 1 or at most 2 more. Your time then .... STUD. C'mon have some balls. Come home. Make it your team. Make LBJ beg to play on it with you.

OKC is 20-17 right now and Westbrook has been taking a ridiculous amount of shots the last couple of weeks. Given that he's been playing great lately but it just sucks the air out of other player's game and by other players, I mean PG. PG's far second option role just wouldn't cut it for him. Never mind Melo. He seems to be okay with taking just 10 shots a game.

Two more losses which would bring them somewhere around 0.500 and that too much ball dominance among other issues will be brought up. Before we know it, PG wagon to LA will gain some steam again.

I want to believe. That PG isn't a p***y liar and he really meant it allowing his agent to tell Indy he wants to come home. Look at the frickin' talent, PG, just a couple of years off from being STUDS ..... like you.

They don't want a couple of years away; the want right now, unfortunately.

Which is why we need a second spot. Neither George nor LeBron is likely to come here by themselves to babysit, even if the babies are talented. But if they could come together, I believe they still would. You can fast-track talented babies to at least help you carry the load. For instance, LeBron's presence meant less for Kyrie, but he did enough and was a good enough soldier to make sure they won a title. Kobe did it for Shaq, etc. LeBron and George together with a group of young players is actually a pretty ideal situation: guys too talented to be role players playing role player positions is exactly what you need.

Westbrook is not far off from averaging a triple double this year too.

He’s dropped in points most, but not all that far off in rebounds and assists

Yeah. He's doing it all which I think would be PG's main issue. He's been doing so less and for an alpha-type player, it's one thing to readjust and be second in command, another to be completely relegated to closely becoming a role player.

I don’t want to get into the endless loop of same back and forth of June, but I’m glad we didn’t give the #2 or Ingram for PG. I don’t think replacing one of those guys with PG has us in the playoff hunt, unless he played at prime Kobe level and we had a smarter coach than Luke. So if he experienced that and decided to walk we’d have lost one of those players for nothing. Now we have both, and PG can choose to join this situation if he wants, which he would have done anyway, but he’s got an extra very good player on the roster to play with if he wants. If he doesn’t choose us in free agency, I’ll assume he wouldn’t have chosen to stay with us in free agency either. It would be Dwight Howard again, only we’d have given up a player with working knees.

Boy PG really playing with our emotions right now....we're close to last place in the West and he drops this on us ahead of our game tomorrow against them?

I just don't see him coming here if we're last in the west. We need to show a little more promise to turn the tide.

If I were LeBron and PG in Win- Now mode why would I want to come to the Lakers?

I hope Kuzma, Ball and Ingram show a lot of promise the rest of the year. We also need to be competitive.

Because the Lakers have, at worst, great young depth. At best they have 2-3 young stars who can help carry the load.

Why would LeBron pick Cleveland when he was in Miami? We just have to continue making noise and bring competitive.

So that whole thing about players not wanting to play for their city and for a storied franchise/market...yeah, seems like that's going to be part of the video package we're going to show our guy this summer. Also, it wouldn't hurt if BD, LO and Kob were there. Oh and what's that now...LaBron and George both saying they like the energy and playing at Staples.

Here's an extended video of the comments that got Thunder fans thinking Deux-rant.

Also f*** the OKC media calling that Thunder team a good team at 20-17...GTFOH!

Bshaw...the gift that keeps on giving.

I concede that it was wishful thinking for OKC to miss the playoffs outright, but they way things are going, they could end up 5, 6, 7 or 8 and that means no home court advantage in round 1 and them going against either GS, Houston, SA or the Wolves. If anything the Wolves have seemed to figure it out..not the Thunder who are largely still relying heavily on Russ taking a bunch of FGAs.

OKC is likely 1 and done in the playoffs and if that happens, we get our guy.
