Who brought up all those players? For f***s sake it's like we can't have a coherent discussion here without heaping praise on our players and ignoring their faults.

Around here it's Lakers Doomsday for other fan sites, but when someone has an actual critique, that's untenable? You're better than this LT.

Randle is playing well, doesn't mean any criticism of him is unfounded. It doesn't mean he deserves the world. It doesn't mean he's fixed all the problems that he's had for the last few years. You can be a fan of the kid and still understand that Jordan ate him up two games ago and that's not acceptable. I never argued that he wasn't our best bet at Center. I never argued that he hasn't improved.

It's one thing to see how negative this site is when three starters are out and we're already not a great team, but it's truly disappointing to see fans dig in their heels and suddenly canonize Julius just because he's been a bright spot in a tough stretch.

I shouldn't need to feel "a different way" each and every night. But okay.

Well for f***s sake it's kind of because of you flip flopping and supporting the gif mocking when I asked the gif poster if he felt the same after Julius's 2nd start and monster game ..... after you had said something different to my first bumping of this thread and my original post after his first start of the season in the Clipper game.

Here's the chronology including key words in red.

To the mocking gif above I asked after his pretty huge game against Houston:

So now you come back with this below and say the game against the Clippers and DJ was a bad game for Julius: Oh really?

So that annoyed me sorry, because no way you spin his first start can you call it a "bad" game, especially since my first post mentioned on the negative side he of course had problems with DJ down low. And have mentioned being pissed that Luke a lot this season has left Julius on an island unfairly against too big of guys that are skilled at center.
    So I then posted this:

When did his first start get to be determined to be a bad game? Because of DJ's size that's now a bad game? DJ 31 minutes 12pts 16rb 1 TO 2blks. Randle 28 minutes 18pts 7rb 1 TO 1blk.

Then ride Zubac like no other to step his game up by next year to be able to play at least decently against fellow 7 footers because neither LBJ nor PG is going to guard DJ or any of the true big men either IF they both were to come. Or it has to be Boogie .... one of the mythical 2 "star" FAs.

And then again ignoring that I had said at the start of this exchange and recently about (of course) he has problems with guys that are skilled and bigger than him and you said this:

The stats don't really tell the story though do they? Jordan bullied Randle with his size and athleticism and Julius contributed to that horrific start from the starters in that game. Julius tried to bully him back, but he wasn't as successful. Meanwhile against a similar player in Capela, Julius had his way on the floor. The point isn't to disparage Julius, but if he can be successful like that against Capela, he should be able to find similar success against Jordan. It's all about consistency and that's been a problem with Julius since we've drafted him. I'm a Julius fan, but we can still be honest in our critiques, right?

Well you also ignored that he outscored DJ and made him look like a statue at times and had anything but what I would call the entire first start of this season a "bad" game overall, plus I do not buy that Clint Capella poses as difficult a problem for Julius as D. Jordan. But it was a good opportunity apparently to bag on him unfairly for consistency between those 2 games.

Furthermore wcsoldier had already posted this in the meantime which I felt was a completely rational breakdown of why Julius is OK if handled properly by the coach and the organization to play the center position if there's no room at the 4 rotation in replying to sirronstuff. So I posted it to your Julius getting bullied and being inconsistent remarks because yeah we see he has problems against guys that are just too big for him. Doesn't mean he had a "bad" game or was being inconsistent or not giving the same effort against the Clippers. Yeah for f***s sake.

It's a tough season of games to watch. I wouldn't let anything specific or certain comments bug you. You are the king of making peace, and realdeal is a rational guy. We're all on this roller coaster together, and hopefully when I'm down ya'all can bring up me and vice versa. We're in a for a long season.

I'm ready for some opponent doom @Cookie

Hopefully we can dust those skillz off soon. You don't use it, you lose it, and that's a precious ability that should not go to waste.

The difference is I will back off comments and acknowledge when the logic shows where I f***** up in my personal observations. Part of realdeal's deal is never will that happen. But it's OK because the completely overwhelming volume of what he posts I feel is spot on and insightful.

I admit I'm wrong all the time.

I admitted I was wrong about Okafor.
I admitted I was wrong about Hart.
I admitted I was wrong about Deng.
I admitted I was wrong about Luke.
I admitted I was wrong about Julius playing defense.
I admitted I was wrong about Kuzma (very wrong).
I admitted I was wrong about Ebanks.
I admitted I was wrong about Wesley Johnson (very wrong).

I don't know when that narrative started, but it's bull****.

We all have our moments. You had me blocked once upon a time. But I'm glad you don't now so I can mess with you and enjoy your posts. You're one of the most entertaining guys on the board, and your participation level is awesome. We need more like you. I could care less if we all agree, but I agree it is nice that whenever someone is off that they own it.

I'm sure like @therealdeal will admit someday that signing LLLLLebron was a mistake. I'll still love him through all the pain and suffering though, because that's what efriends do.

I haven't flip flopped on this. I said he played well, does that mean he didn't struggle with something? Could he have not struggled guarding Jordan, struggled to start the game on the right foot, struggled to integrate into the starting lineup and still been effective pushing the ball, still tried to respond with energy, and still worked hard? Why is this black and white with you?
So after all that, we agree then? Julius has trouble with bigger and stronger guys? Then what the f*** is the problem? Because I'm not blindly celebrating Julius's games? Why can't I have a critique on the way he plays? Do you think Julius is the perfect player? Are you and wcsolider allowed to be critical?

    It's I couldn't care less!

I'm blocking you! Luke sucks! Let's all move to Plan X. I want to see what Magic does in 3 years when we have to pay this rookie class and we have no FAs.

Because I'm opinionated and thus I staunchly defend my opinions... on an opinion board.

But you're right. I'm wrong and I rarely like to admit that. I was wrong here.

    Whoops.

but the thing is, I COULD care less.

I'm managing my care level so the losses don't bother me so much. It makes me feel a little fair weather fannish, but since it involves my mental health, I'm ok with that.

The last thing we need is schizo sirron back with 10 aliases entertaining myself to deal with the pain of another wasted year missing my favorite past time. When your source of stress relief and entertainment gets up and walks away for years, it can be kinda traumatic.

The e-arguing is more entertaining than our games though, so by all means, carry on.

LOLOLOL ..... I came back to swing again but then the reality of implied semantics stopped me. I first saw whoops as only a sarcastic "oops". But then checking the rest of your post before doing that I saw the "wh" in front of the oops and of course that makes all the difference in the world. Plus I read the rest of your post.

I never ever had you blocked? On CL? Not something I ever do on any boards and you hadn't even gotten disgusting with poop yet. Seriously? I really don't recall that. How annoying were you and what was your deal back then?
