Jeez I agreed he's cost us games and said "some" of that (like with Randle's minutes and KCP's long leash) may have come from the FO. I wasn't arguing with you. Admit it your panties are in a bunch because I didn't buy the Kuzma starting story as being one of his faults. Where's a raspberry when I need it. LOLOL. C'mon who loves ya LVBD?
I don’t at all agree that 5 wins makes the difference between where we are and being looked at as an up and commer. I also don’t agree that we should expect a 2nd year coach with a team of half new players and mostly 1-3rd year key players would be much better than we are. This s*** takes time. We knew this before, but we are losing perspective here.
My issue isn’t with the actual difference in wins. I just don’t like why we’re losing a lot of these games and at what cost? The way they are handling Randle (and KCP for that matter) is troubling and a team with low expectations shouldn’t be needing a team meeting 30 games into the season. I was all in for Luke when we hired him but I have some serious questions about his fit for this team.
I think it does make a difference. And yes the 2nd year coach has cost us 5-6 games and has generally been incompetent this season. Losing perspective? I don't think I have lost any; but I will remind us of this when Boston or Philly gets a top 5 pick courtesy of the Lakers because wins just don't matter.
did he cost us tonight against Houston? I say it's quite possible. Several questionable moves down the stretch.
the refs are atrocious once again c3p uses his arm to push off the defender and score-no call. NBA reffing has been a complete embarrassment this season
I'm still pissed off at the systems Luke has in place. The constant switching leads to mismatches almost every time down the court. And we just don't have the talent to play in what is essentially a free lance offense.
The one where we rely on a 20 year old rookie to make us look attractive for the 2018 new-old plan free agents.
I'm very disappointed in Luke's ability to put the pieces we have to good use. Just doesn't seem to be any good excuses left.
I don't understand why in overtime when Julius fouled out we didn't keep another big man in for him. We had Nance, which led to an and 1 and then yanked out for brewer who couldn't defend Black. It was so frustrating.... Luke's decisions have been very frustration
The hardest part of coaching is substitutions. Who when and where. No more coaching experience than Luke has we have a few years of this I'm afraid. If he makes it that long. He has to learn to trust his instincts. Very frustrating indeed.
Was wondering what THAT was about... Spoiler: Oooooooohhh! http://www.spotrac.com/nba/houston-rockets/trevor-ariza-2513/ FREE AGENT: 2018 / UFA
