Up until the last game, Clarkson has actually been playing very well running the 2nd unit with very little room for complaints.

It’s been getting worse game by game. While I appreciate his ability to get buckets, he’s been reverting back to playing a lot of ISO ball with Julius.

Well yeah, he’s a rookie. But what he shown in SL and what he’s doing in the G-League is still better than what Ennis or Clarkson do at point.

I’m just stating the obvious, never said he would get much time.

yeah i don't think that statement is based in fact. He reverted back to ISO ball against the Warriors. The 4 games prior he was pretty efficient (21.5 MPG, 15ppg, 3apg, 49% shooting, 1.5 TO per game). I don't know what else is expected from our backup PG whose ability to create shots for himself is important for our bench. He overdribbled in one game and now the narrative is that it's gotten worse every game, but I'm having trouble finding any evidence that it's been getting worse.

its implied, if hes not getting pt it doesnt matter, that was what i commented on, calling up a guy who wont get pt is soeta pointless. but if he he did get pt over jc i bet we'll be calling for caurso head in no time

I'd like to see him in there for some minutes with Bryant and maybe even with Zu since they have been getting to know each well in the G league games.

Well we'll have plenty of garbage time for when the Rockets nail 50 3's before half.

Or maybe it’ll say something to JC to lose PT if he keeps on playing around the world with himself.

Yes, very solid line or 0-1-0. :D Seriously though, he played fine, gave Lonzo a break, made some nice passes, decent defense.

plus minus of plus 8 in just 7 minutes I think. We prospered when he was in, and Lonzo got a blow. It's a big deal.

I thought he showed some solid game, but it was clear he hasn't played much against NBA caliber players. He at times would be surprised by the Warriors speed in transition or defensively. He made adjustments though and I still think he's shown some promise. I like him more than Ennis already for sure.

By the way he totally blocked that ball. Even if he didn't, they should have given it to him. I've never seen an accountant jump that high.

Your time to shine old man, hope he gets most of the mins and not Ennis. But man is this glaring hole in our roster going to be spotlighted with Ball out.

it can be stressful being a starting PG in the NBA. he might not have hair left when Lonzo finally comes back

Yeah Ennis has had his chance to start and Caruso should get the same chance. Plus he's got a good history in games with Kuzma Summer League and Bryant from the G League.

Or start Clarkson these games and see if he can switch gears and be a scoring PG as opposed to primarily a scoring guard.
