^^ Got to agree with you guys. I think Nash is going to be more of a distraction than a help even if he has a modicum of health.
Agreed with this. I'm sold on the rotation of Lin and Price and at this point Nash is nothing more than a distraction. If he does come back he'll mess up the rotations and chemistry of the rest of the team. And he'll end up playing what, 10 mins a game?, every couple of games. If he can't play consistently for the majority of the season he needs to retire.
Lin/Price just makes more sense for us anyway. Give Nash a coaching position and get him out of roster situation. Enough trying to work him in. What he gives us is simply not worth it.
the only thing he might be good for at this point is being a spot up 3 point shooter in specific situations. the end.
27 more games and this guy can finally become irrelevant to Laker fans. Must be nice to do whatever you want on someone else's dime.
To his credit he's been working with Clarkson off and on for a little while now... But I still hate Nash. A man of low integrity takes a job and accepts that money even if he doesn't do that job or at least provide a service of some kind.
I understand he wanted to take time after the injury to get away from it, that's fine. But at some point this season I expect him to be a regular around the gym helping teach the guards a thing or two. If he doesn't want to make it out to the games, that's fine. Don't blame him, I don't want to watch the games either. But two sessions with JC isn't enough for me, it's just not. Be the same professional you've been the rest of your career and at least help these kids out for March and April, I don't think that's asking too much. Then as soon as free agency hits, I expect you to be inside Dragic's home with him, holding the Lakers contract in front of his face. Anything less and I'll be extremely sour with Nash's lack of contributions.
Man I can't even look at this guy's picture right now, can't stand him. My only consolation is that Kobe and the Lakers took his last championship chance away from him in 2010. Maybe this is his 'revenge'.
Totally unethical to state "because he wants the money" .... then fail again physically as everyone expected .... and then do right next to NOTHING for the Lakers organization for the rest of the year, compared to the help he could have given that would have been valuable to at least 2 or 3 of the back court players. Really low class of him to repay the F.O. in this manner for the 1st class way in which he has been treated. Disgraceful. Agree with JSM must be great to do whatever the hell you want on someone else's "millions of dollars and draft picks given for you" ...... errrr ..... someone else's "dime". So far he's done what? One day or two with Clarkson in the gym following the All Star game? Big of you Steve. Bleep you. Unless there is some story of much more going on, behind the scenes. Sure doesn't seem likely.
