When the game slows down for players, they start to see others around them better. He's just getting better at concentrating to absorb contact with that skinny frame in season 2. Using his length, hesitations, using that stride to get around people etc.

And now ya'all already want him to be an expert facilitator along with it?

Next you'll be wanting him to shoot 80% on free throws.

    When does it stop?

The hesitation dribble drive and pass to Randle late in the game that Randle somehow didn't convert was sick!

Shows that he is getting better and reading the floor better because in the past even this year he wouldn't have been able to recognize the help defender coming over for the block.

Yes, we do. It's either that or we recruit LeBron: your favorite player.

I saw that pull up jumper from around the free throw line that Kobe made a killing with. BI still has issues but at least we see him growing by the week.

He should do that much more often and make life easier for himself and not risk injury so much. Duh! Some of those forced drives are less than smart putting it kindly.

Really bad game aside from a late jumper and layup if I remember right. It sucks when he has games like this because he kind of disappears into the background. Luckily he hasn’t had too many like this since early in the season, still only 20.

I think this guy’s problem is that because he drives to the hoop so much game to game he ends up on his a** a lot. Those pains carry over into the next game leading to the inconsistency. That’s partly why I wish he would take more mid-range jumpers when given to him. He is strong for his size, but he is still skinny.

He has been relatively consistent. Although, I think he has been nore inefficient this month; he usually bounces back right away, too.

Yeah. Agree, LTL. I don't care if he isn' even making it; you have to those shots if that is what the defense is giving you.

That's what I keep seeing and saying too. Come on Brandon work on stopping on that dime and getting in the air with your ridiculous length and popping those short Js. Instead of killing yourself so much like that every game. The drives open up the pull up Js and vice versa.

I mean, the guy had a pretty good defender on him all game. Ariza shadowed him and frustrated him physically, but he still fought through and put up 15 with a nice J.

Kuz benefitted by getting Ryan Anderson and PJ Tucker.

Ingram would have it so much easier if he’s coming off of screens and hand offs, as opposed to iso moves. We did a good job of that a few games back. I’d like to see the team make a better effort to get him in those situations.

He looked invisible out there for long stretches. His interior defense needs to improve. He's too tall to be this bad on D

He’s too tall and long to get blocked this much at the rim too. I know because he’s skinny that contact to the body can really hamper how high he gets, but he’s got to adjust in some way. Pump fake, add a fadeaway, something.

Teams are just back to packing the paint on him. He has to prove consistently that he can be a threat to hit a pull up jumper. I can only really remember one late in the game. More worrying is that when his shot isn't falling, he isn't finding other ways to impact the game. Go get a board, make an extra pass, get in the passing lanes. You've got to find ways to affect winning games.

He is predictable; we keep harping on it. There was a play in Houston where he was at the top of the key, drove right, and found Brewer in the corner for 3 or the drop off pass to Randle for a layup before a couple of games ago.

That's the next level of progression we need to see; becoming more of a facilitator.

    Edit. And @therealdeal agree.

He laid a real stinker out there tonight. Sorry to see. The other games against Durant he played much better. Bad night. Didn't do a good job of recognizing when there was a second defender down low. Got swatted way too much and wasn't looking to pass.
