He was everywhere in the last 5 mins. Hit a couple “Nooooo..good shot” threes, played crazy defense, grabbed boards, what a game.
intangibles, can't teach those... we have actually multiple players with this trait...Zo Kuz BI and Randle are the rest. I guess that's why they finish the games most nights
When we were down, Nate Dogg said "Hold up... Wait...." hit a couple 3's, played D and hustled and we got the win.
Yeah, that is what I was afraid of. . It sucks man, he is a two-way player and a leader on this young team. Really love what he brings.
I only was able to catch the last 7 minutes or so, but apparently that was the perfect time for Pope. Wow! What a fourth quarter he had. He basically won the game by himself down the stretch. Those threes he was taking were unconscious. His confidence was so high, I almost put a three up before they went in. Impressive, impressive game. That's what I expect it should feel like if/when we get a Paul George on the team. If we don't though, I wouldn't be mad at giving KCP a nice deal. He's still only 24 years old.
That's the problem is KCP is a championship team player but maybe the 3rd or 4th guy and we're trying to sign those 1st and 2nd guys somehow. He'd be that perfect role player though. Offensively, he can get streaky but that matters less in the playoffs when it's about teams that lock down and make clutch hustle plays. Anyways his 3 shot seems to pick up in clutch situations. You need those Ariza's, Artests. He could have come right off that '04 Pistons team ftm.
Yeah while Pope isn't exactly on that level, we could do a lot worse. I would not mind him back at all.
Dude came up clutch on both sides of the court and then some. Crazy defense, attacking the offensive board, 3 after 3. Showing the younger youngsters how to do it.
