He's going for 32 and 12 tonight but you're going to miss it .... not a big baller in the tough times. So what if they last 5 years?
Someone said "Kuzma came back down to Earth this game". Funny how 17 points is coming back down to Earth.
You know he's getting good when Luke takes him out or gets upset because he knows Kuz can score easily but wants him to pass it and get others involved instead of being so focused on scoring. Great news is that he can do both really well when he wants to.
Cover title for great article on Kyle in today's L.A. Times by Tania Ganguli: FORGED BY FLINT http://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers/la-sp-lakers-kyle-kuzma-20171120-htmlstory.html
Just feel he isn't getting enough attention and spotlight he earned and deserves for "some" reasons. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
Wow, I've read pretty much all the articles about Kyle's upbringing and knew about his mom's multiple jobs and moving all the time. But this article dove even more details and took it to another level. That whole Kuzma family, his brother, his sister, grandma, his mom, and Kyle himself have sacrificed so much and been through a lot. It's only fitting that they all now reap in the benefits of what their son, brother, or grandson is doing. So proud Wonderful story! Tania did a great job.
If we didn’t have his scoring in the first half, we’d have been completely out of it. I have no clue what Luke was doing taking him out after he had 10 points in 6 mins, but he’s lucky he was still hot when he came back in. Obviously he wore down as he played like the entire 3rd and late into the 4th, but still a great game overall from the rookie.
if luke sits kuz again when hes 4/4 in the first 6 minutes, im gonna.......Well Im not gonna do anything, but its annoying
Hadn’t even looked at his averages yet because he plays so solid I didn’t really think about it. Turns out he’s averaging 16.5 (basically 17, right?) and 7. If you told me before the season we’d be getting that from our 28th pick I’d have just laughed. I imagine his numbers as a starter are a bit better than that as well. Even if/when he hits an inevitable rookie wall/rough patch, guy is clearly a baller with a serious BBIQ. Like Vas would say, he’s a bleedin sod.
Again the question are you watching the games? He's got the Mamba mentality but is being reigned in by Luke who wants to see the offense have more passes and motion before the shots go up. Kyle is capable of getting himself open for good looks with that pretty J of his from his fast feet and lightning quick release almost any time he wants. Not to mention trying to signature jam on anyone he can. Some of even the misses like against Embiid are spectacular in their audacity.
