The last bit is also compounded by the fact we missed 15 FT's as well, make 60% of those and you win a one point game.

Seriously, how long until this kid notches a quadruple double. The fact that he had 4 blocks again in a game is crazy enough. The things he’s able to do now as a rookie has me impressed already. I hope eventually though he improves his midrange game. LFR noted that he doesn’t really have the footwork or control needed to to just stop and take that midrange jumper consistently. Which is why he he shoots just floaters or tries to get all the way to the hoop for a contested layup. I feel he’s a good enough player right now and I’m sure he’s smart enough to know he has to improve in these areas.

Outside of his shooting, he does everything else at an above average to elite level.

Blocks, playing the passing lanes, rebounding, on ball defense, passing, etc. it’s good stuff.

More catch and shoot opportunities please.

Mamba Mentality: becoming the youngest player to get a triple double against the coach who said it was a stretch to compare them.

The ego of a former great coming out. It's tough for any of those guys to let go of their competitive side completely, even to the point of a harmless compliment.

That's a quality I actually greatly admire in Magic. To some, he's the greatest winner ever, but have you ever heard a great one so eager to heap compliments on his rival or protege? Very rare indeed.

Per Elias Sports Bureau, Lonzo Ball is the first player in NBA history to record at least 19 points, 13 assists, 11 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 steals in a single game.

A C Bags fan was telling me Ball was a bust yesterday. He's been quiet ever since the game last night.

i think minutes next to a player than can penetrate and score might help him some. but he needs to establish his shot first.

Talent level is off the charts, if he can get his scoring to at least solid he will be unreal.

What Ball needs more than anything is a veteran PG backing him up and acting as a mentor. Ennis surely isn't it.

Of all the players the Lakers have had over the years who have been capable of doing amazing stuff and acting like they've been there before, no looking at me what I just did emotions shown .... he's got to be among the most amazing in that regard. But you know the emotion is there when it's something that's contributing big time to the team effort in a tough or close game. That gets him pumped, in his own way, amongst his teammates. Freaking love this kid!

No joke. How did we not address this key position properly?

    Very bad decision.

We'll win a championship one day and I doubt Ball or Ingram will crack a smile.
