Your standards are too low people. Always demand the best. Even if you are in first place, the coach should demand We are all capable of more than we think. Is it really unrealistic to expect your 7' center to grab more than 1 rebound? :Randallconfused:
Maybe when you're doing as many other things as he does, and defending Marc Gasol who also requires attention out to the 3 pt line, while playing him to a stand off, on this particular night. He had 9 the other night.
Exactly my point. He's more than capable. He's had more than that every game this year. I'm not cutting him slack just because we got the victory. Don't be...
Well you just ignored Gasol being out by the 3 pt line a lot. You expecting The Flash out of him on nights against those types of 5s?
Brook played great. I don't care how rebounds he had. He posted the best +/- on the team and held Marc Gasol to an 85 ORtg despite 15/10/7 from Marc. If Brook plays this way consistently, not only are we going to win a lot of games, he's going to make a push for the All-Star game.
We haven't had such a skilled big man since Pau and boy has it been refreshing. He's been a damn near perfect vet for this young team and it must be nice for him too to not have to play for the Nets. His rebounding was brought up when we got him, I forgot if it was LFR or not, but someone made a video about it. He either isn't in a spot to rebound after rotating to help or he boxes out his man completely out the way so his teammates can grab it.
If he continues to play like this all season then he deserves to be retained (hopefully takes a pay cut) while we try to get PG/DC/and or LBJ
What I’m liking most about Brook is probably that he’s actually a veteran leader. He’s clearly pumped out there when he gets a good pass for a dunk or an and 1, or when his teammates make a good play. He’s helping us actually win games, he’s not here to collect a paycheck like another vet leader that was supposed to be a great presence for the kids. I don’t know if he stays long-term, but I’m very glad we have him for this season, he’s the best player we’ve had in years.
He is soooo important. He assures that most games in the season we aren't going to get punked by the other team's better or even mediocre center. Big Men still matter.
Some of those bounce passes this game and the one on Friday to KCP, Ingram, and company were awesome. We all know about his scoring potential but he has pass that ball pretty darn well too.
Big game praising the d*** out of Walton and BroLos role on this team. Kinda influenced taking shots, spreading the floor(Caron Butler kinda piggy backs). s*** we all knew. Thats why i was saying just chill on Luke please... Thats my coach right there.
Still waiting for someone to tell us our All Star center was hurt or something tonight and that’s why he was a no show and benched.
Lopez sucks. Plain and simple. Just shows you how weak the East is and someone had to score for the Nets.
