He's got underrated passing ability and he's starting to look really comfortable out there. I'm really hoping he continues to gain confidence. Whether we bring him back or not, he's providing the blueprint for a max player next to Lonzo: create in the pick and roll and let Lonzo space the floor. I know that sounds counter-intuitive with Lonzo shooting poorly right now, but that's the blueprint going forward. Keep it up KCP! Get paid!
KCP, after Randle, I'd say was our most important player because of what he did on both ends and having to guard both Wall and Beal all night and then hitting that HUGE corner 3 to take the lead in OT. As real said, he also has underrated playmaking ability. Had a few nice passes in pick and roll and has a good feel for the game. I'd like for him to slow down on the break but I don't mind the aggression. Hope he keeps this up. 2-way player in the making and he's only 24 years old
^ That's exactly what we signed him for. Impressive. I wish we were able to re-sign him, but... he'll want some $$.
If we know were gonna lose him... You think theres any chance of trading(Not trying to irk anyone) him at the dead line?
I think we don't sign two outside max players, so we keep Pope and Brook Lopez. Just a working theory. This group needs a couple years to grow to be ready for prime time. I don't see the 2 max scenario working out, and Laker fans hate LLLLLebron. There's even a hate LLLLLebron site lol www.ihatelebron.com
Maybe but only if it comes as a recommendation from whatever else star we get. He's too much of a headache otherwise.
I was super pumped when I heard we signed KCP. Lets see how he does against Derozan. Shutting down a player like that can inspire these young guys to want to do the same. We've needed a defender like this for years. Brewer has small stretches that are impressive, but KCP can really shut people down for a game.
