Thing I love most about Lonzo - even when his stats aren't the flashiest, he usually plays a good floor game and still impacts the outcome.

If he could shoot, he'd be a star right now. He is close to averaging triple-double.

Has there ever been a rookie basically average a triple double? He is going to be a MACHINE in a few years. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first and wanted Fox initially. I am so glad we got Lonzo, though. Superstar in the making.

Totally agree here, legit triple double threat. Really enjoy how he gets his assists, its so fluid within the offense.

Oscar Robertson averaged 30.5 ppg, 10.1 rpg, and 9.7 apg his rookie year.

It doesn't happen often. That's for sure.

When our biggest complaint about Ball is his scoring, things are going well. His scoring will come, Im not worried about that. It's his rebounding that has surprised me and his defense too. His passing translated well (that QB pass to Nance, he saw it before he even got the ball). And most importantly his demeanor on the court and down the stretch, calm under pressure.

I was skeptical when we drafted him even after watching him at UCLA but we nailed this pick.

His passing is as advertised, but what I love so far is his rebounding. He was always going to be a double-double threat, but when he's at his best, Lonzo is going to be a triple-double threat all year long. The good news is I'm not sure that's so far away. Lonzo is a terrific athlete and he's got the ability to turn the corner and get into the paint, get into that middle area. All he needs is an in-between shot. He can get where he needs to go which is impressive and important for a young guy. As time goes on, he'll perfect which spots to attack in.

Like others have said...Lonzo even when his shot is off is going to impact the game. He did a great job of controlling tempo and that to me speaks a lot about his impact even as a rookie. He's getting more and more comfortable with the guys and I see that chemistry getting better as time rolls on.

Only criticism i have is this: Stop being passive in the first half and then jacking up shots in the 4th quarter. He needs to be in rhythm so take those shots you're taking in the 4th in the 1st and 2nd quarter so that you'll be warm in crunchtime. To be fair, he did have a huge bucket in OT so I'll excuse the missed shots for that. Plus, he created for his teammates all game long so I'm not going to complain.

Again, his REBOUNDING has been the most impressive thing about him.

One of many things I like about him is his ability to stay involved even when he's not scoring. I think that aspect of his game will get better over time.

What I didn't expect is the defense and rebounding. He's basically Jason Kidd already. There's no other player averaging a near triple-double with such a low usage rate. If his shots start falling, he'll surpass Kidd and chase Magic.
