Like DLo, IMHO dude doesn't have "it".

Dude has had a red shirt year to observe the game. Has had a backstage pass to a player like Kobe. Has had natural physical talent to at least do net positive contribution on the floor even if his shot isn't falling....yet he's only 22 and has plenty of time to grow...which is why he's such a divisive player amongst the fans. Its the reason he's our resident scapegoat. He's hanging onto dear life with that dreaded potential tag....but there's a reason he's not starting over Nance. He can't hang his head if his offense isn't going...he can affect the game in other ways.

I personally don't think he's going to stick past this year...and I'd be surprised if he makes it past the deadline. Dec. 15th is when our free agent signings are available for trade...he needs to step up, otherwise he's shipped out.

Luke is in a tough spot. We need to up his trade value, but at the same time, he doesn't deserve to start / play extended minutes. *so far, I know a lot can change between now and the trade deadline.

I'd have to agree tonight. Poor effort in the last couple of games.

Someone will. Slow ball offense and he'll get you 10 boards a game, like he did 2 years ago. He's still young.

Question is, do we get what we want out of him and does he get the contract he thinks he's worth (we know the answer to that one).

I’d have to hope some team out there feels they can turn him around in the right environment, get him while he’s on the rookie deal still and take that last chance on him before he’s due for a new contract. Notice I said have to hope. I’d take a draft pick back. And or anyone that can shoot at all. If you can trade Russ and Mozgov for Lopez and a pick, Randle has to be worth something to someone.

I can honestly see the Bulls as a landing spot. Its devoid of real talent out there. We know his agent, Mintz is trying to get his clients to big markets. Dunn's already out in the Chi, we got DLo out to BK and before Pritch did him dirty, George was aiming to get to LA.

He could possibly be more of an impact on a team that is clearly in a rebuild (they are even younger than we are). Meanwhile, here in LA, the lights are just too bright. Bulls also have money to spend and key FAs aren't going to go to a team that is in a clear rebuild mode.

Julius is a half court offense guy. I think half court offense best suits him. Rockets doesn't run a half court system but who says no to Julius Randle & Luol Deng for Ryan Anderson?

The only value Randle has is coming in at the 0:39 mark in the 4th quarter on a team about to win the title by 20 points.

He is lazy, unmotivated, and useless when it comes to any flow or chemistry in a team game. No folks, working out does not make you motivated. That is an aesthetic and health thing not a playing basketball well thing.

Randle can be traded for scraps or play out his contract. Either way, who cares. He is useless for this team.

Play BI 40 minutes and let's see if he is a bust or not. Lonzo will be a star, Kuzma will be a star. You have one steady vet who can play very well. Build from that. Stop playing young players only 27 minutes a game. Give them the damn keys, there is no other option. Those who can't perform, keep them away from those who can. That part shouldn't take alot to figure out.

At this point, if you can get a serviceable backup PG for him, you do it. I hate that because I had visions of Lonzo giving him easy buckets dancing in my head.

He's a 4th year #7 overall pick currently being outplayed by a bouncier mark madsen and a rookie almost second rounder. Gtfo

This is a young player that can average a double double, can get triple doubles, is extremely fit now, and can really get after it defensively when motivated.

He just can't seem to put it all together. If he could, we'd be playoffs bound. If he can't, he probably won't be here, and won't be happy with his next contract either.

I sincerely hope he figures out how to perform within his abilities, gets some time with Ball, and restores all of our hope. You know Nance will miss some time, and Kuzma is a first year guy, so there will be increased minutes.

Will he be ready to change our mind when they come? I hope so, or everyone has wasted a lot of time and energy rooting on this guy.

Early signs of Dwight Howard-itis? Randle can do the dirty work that Nance does even better plus he can score more too. He NEEDS to adjust to the players on the floor. This ongoing situation could get ugly.
