I thought he had a solid all around game as well.

Bogus foul at the end on Bledsoe. Made up for it with that last second block shot. He doesn't have the physical talent that Randle does, but I love his motor and his defensive effort. He's earned that starting spot IMHO.

But goddamnit make a wide open jumper from time to time my dude...you and BI cost Zo a tripdub (even though Zo ain't even about that...which I love about the kid.)

As long as Brook, Lonzo and Ingram are scoring Nance looks fine in the starting line up. It's when they struggle that it looks worse.

Instead of working on his jumper, I'd rather him get stronger and focus on being a better rebounder and defender.

He lost a bit of weight over the summer and gets pushed around by bigger 4's.

I assume he lost the weight for the same reasons everyone else who lost weight did, because we wanted to play an insanely fast pace this season, and Magic said that whole body fat % thing. But yes, it has caused him to get pushed around more than ever before. Sort of a trade off I guess, rather be in shape to run all game, or bigger for rebounding and defense.

Nobody else mentioned that he's the guy who came to stand up for Brewer. It wasn't exactly Ron Artest mixing it up, but he was the one who went and pushed Booker for hitting Brewer around the head area.

I enjoy watching him play even if he's not very good.

^ was going to say this. didn't look like much, but it sent the message. booker clearly got it, as he went ape**** over it. as a psychologist, i'll say that when a guy delivers a hit on one of yours, it's best to swiftly deliver one to him, even if it's minor. if the whole team plays this way, it will get into the subconscious of the opponent: when i rough them up, i'm going to get mine.

people can act like it doesn't matter, but it does.

Balled out, then sat out. Coulda pouted and made faces, but not this dude. Loved it even more how amped he was for Randle at the end of the game. There's awesome chemistry building on this team. We just need those Ws or at the very least, remain competitive to keep them good vibes going.

Like I said, I missed almost the entire 1st half, so I didn’t really get to see his best moments, but apparently he was great. Major credit for being a great teammate on the bench to finish the game, he really is all about the team, and you need that on any team, but especially on a super young team with guys fighting hard for every minute they can get.

Tuned midway through the second quarter...Nance was more assertive on offense taking shots defenders were daring him to. MIA in the second half with Walton's odd small ball combinations until the Randle insertion worked its magic.

Somehow Larry has just been way more productive than expected. He is also productive on offense...it seems like I'm in the wrong movie.
