misleading box score, 14/12 with high fg%, but what we saw was biff abusing him inside n out, the d packing it in cause he cant shoot n all his fg were layups or dunks setup by somebody else

I thought he was better than expected. He's not that talented but at least he was trying hard unlike half our roster. He's not a starting caliber player but I appreciate effort over dragging feet.

Blake was abusing Julius too, and it's not like Julius' jumper is better than Larry's.

Larry's effort is IMO why Luke is starting him for now.

Nobody was great last night, not trying to make excuses for Nance, but I think he’s maxed out his talent. My real complaints with him is he keeps fumbling good passes, and he’s so deathly afraid to shoot it hurts the entire offense and leads to turnovers and bad shots as he plays hot potato with the ball.

And this is where I’m at with him. He’s one of the handful of guys who gives consistent effort

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think we’re using Nance correctly or that he should be starting.

I’m just not that upset with him because I think he’s a limited player

Does he really though? I mean sure he was running around on the court last night, but was he actually trying to win? Nance will at least dive for loose balls, hustle around, do everything in his power (which doesn't end up being much) to change the game. Does Deng do that?

Nance is a limited player that you don't start. He's the player you keep around because he's a great locker room guy. The guy you play in spurts off the bench and can rely on his hustle while your starter is resting. He's more inline of a Nick Collison type player.

Garbagge time certainly effected the numbers, but +14 for Nance vs. -25 for Randle. Blake is better than both these dudes, but Nance, limited as he is, gave way more effort on the defensive end and played well without the ball on the offensive end. Meanwhile Randle sulked and it showed in his production on the court. He's much more talented than Nance, yet his effort doesn't show it.

No one showed up last night...not Zo, not BI, not Nance, not Randle, not the coaching staff...no one. But trying to up someone to put down Nance is a farce. I'll take effort over pouting any day of the week. And if you get punched in the mouth, don't sulk...fight back! I needed Randle to react the way he did against manimal in the preseason...but he didn't. That's the disappointing thing.

Gives effort but I honestly think he's already plateauing. Good for an exciting play every now and then though.

Really needs to get stronger now that hes lost weight. I thought i saw some good scrap from him last night.

Lopez did his thing... We need KCP back cause if 1-3 are playing solid along with Lopez, nance can be the clean up man and do all the dirty work and be under the radar doing it.

    Think sefolosha, haslem.

He played his role again tonight. Between Zo, Lopez, and Ingram, all 3 need the ball in their hands to a certain extent in order to be productive.

Larry's ability to produce without plays being run for him makes him valuable for the 1st unit.
