I think it’s because they both went to Kentucky. That school and a few others seem to stick up for fellow players.

not sure that qualifies as garbage. the play on which he got injured was a great juke and cram, too. i think fox has looked better than i expected, actually.

He was outplayed by a 2-way contract player. He can't shoot, isn't a great passer, isn't a great defender.

    I'm unimpressed.

Seems a little of the hype has simmered down, which might be good for him. For a moment there it was everything Balls. A bit much.

in fairness, if you've come down on an ankle like that, you know that it's rarely 100% in two weeks. it's unfortunate that we'll start the year already behind in chemistry, but you don't want this turning chronic on you.

that said, i do think there's reason to be concerned that he's brittle. just pretty slight of frame for the nba game, and he moves fast and lands in traffic a lot.

He's got solid shoulders, but even for a 19 year old he's pretty wimpy. Playing against grown men? He's going to get banged up a lot and unlike Ingram he has never truly welcomed contact in any game I've seen him play at UCLA, the Summer League, or the NBA. In a couple years he should fill out okay, but until then I could see his career looking a little like Steph Curry's early. Steph dealt with chronic ankle issues for years until he was able to recalibrate his kinetic chain.

Maybe once he got healthy he helped reduce the incidences of sprain by wearing the high tops with the heavy velcro support strap?
