A lot of contested shots in the paint, and he leads our team in blocks thus far so what you laughing about?

He's great one on one (when he's engaged), but hes far from an interior presence on the help side where our majority of our defense needs improvement.

Yeah, he's always been great one on one. He's also shown improvement as a help-side presence and there were a few contests covering for his teammate.

Hahaha @ sirron and also the title change. This is impossible, I had no idea she was even a free agent. Thought she had a good thing out there, but maybe Olaf was getting on her nerves...Dude seems like a ballhog...Or maybe it's the Walkers, those dudes just keep coming at you...bunch of d***heads if you ask me. But don't want to sullie up the conversation., so getting back to the question. My head is saying LaBron but my heart is saying Elsa. Ahh f*** it...The original #2018Plan be damned...I'm just going to have to Let it go!

First couple of games were underwhelming but it is waaaaaaay too early.

I've seen Smush Parker and Tierre Brown tear up SL and Preseason just to suck in the regular season. And many players have been the other way.

The problem is that people now expect BI to be KD after all the talk about how he has improved etc. He might even force the issue which will hurt him.

i actually think that's most people's issue: he's playing a game he can't play. if he were putting up underwhelming stats but fitting into a functioning system, i know i wouldn't be complaining.

but you know, 20ppg or bust!

BI will work til he gets there. Of that, I'm sure.

However, he did catch his generational bug of talking about the work being put in this offseason. Might be able to blame it on the media, but not sure.

At least Kupchak's purpose of overpaying Dung came into fruition, BI certainly has "learned" alot from his old "mentor"

At some point, I think his best position is going to be at the 4, and I think that's where he'll get the bulk of his minutes in the future.

I still think it'll be at the 3 and 2. I think he's way too light to play 4 and would get tossed around. He's a wing to me not a PF or stretch four.

I'd like to hear him say, "I'm trying to do too much. Luke in practice had me coming off screens a lot more to just get me open and in a rhythm. Also he had me run point so I could remember how to pass the ball effectively."

Strictly, IMO, LJ, I don't think he has the lateral quickness to effectively guard 2 all that often; he struggles with staying in front of 3s at various times.

Throw him at the 4; he has the ability to use his quickness (first step,) be a play-maker, and hopefully improved shooting by that time to stretch the floor. Additionally, I think he will get stronger as his body matures.

He can also stay in front of the slower footed 4's much more effectively and still use his length to contest shots.

i think, like kuzma, ingram is a starting 3/backup 4. neither is quick enough to defend/chase around nba 2s or strong enough to battle on the boards with most starting 4s.

i think for all the attention on ingram becoming a scorer, the most important thing will be knocking down the three. i think his defense will come around (maybe not as good as we dreamed, but good enough). but that three point shot needs to be a consistent weapon for him. if so, he and kuzma will be able to share the floor in some lineups more effectively.

I dont get why we play Ingram like he's Kobe. We iso him, have him play one on one and expect him to produce. It's not his game.

I don’t know what’s going on with him, but 5 points on 1-6 shooting ain’t getting it done. His only positive was he played good D on the other end. But man, he looks lost, can’t get by his man, gets bullied on his way to the hoop because he’s still a stick. He’s not gonna bully his way to layups, he needs to get passes off cuts, get hit for open jumpers, maybe get in that Kobe spot close to the corners and use his length for fadeaways. He certainly isn’t being used right, but regardless he is baaaad right now, something has to change.

Does it matter what position he plays? If hes not hitting his perimeter shots, hes hopeless

He was lost on defensively rotations and he's as big a black hole on the team as anyone, including Clarkson. That's saying a lot.

I appreciate that he wants the keys that were handed to him, but he's clearly not ready for them.
