Brandon Ingram Discussion: He Is Who We Thought He Could Be

I dont know how realistic it is to expect a 2nd yr player to lead the team in scoring coming off a pretty terrible rookie season....feels like placing undue pressure on young guy isn't smart thing to do.

 

Looking at the roster, who will score more? If anyone has potential to be a go to guy, it's him.

 

Right. I don't see much choice here. I think it will be between he and Brook. Maybe Randle.

 

No one but dont expect it, especially the 20ppg part magic expected before, i have never seen a player double his scoring avg at that lvl in 1 season

 

I like that Magic is setting the ceiling high, and that Brandon is reaching for it, and actually expects it. He's a winner.

He won 4 High School State championships. He came close at Duke. He demands greatness of himself, and he won't stop until he's a winner.

He's already becoming a vocal leader, leading the team in work ethic, and already demanding more of his teammates.

Enough with all these happy kumbaya feel good phony stories again leading into the season. Have heard it all before. Means squat on the floor. We're not winning a ring this season with these skinny young kids. Why do I even bother?

I think he's up around 20. Not delusional at all if he's a first option with Lonzo Ball finding him and his mid and 3pt shots are falling at respectable %. Look the hell out.

 

If Brook is healthy, he'll get the most passes from Lonzo. Im also curious about Randle's progress. Not that i hate on BI, would love for him to score 20+
His rookie season didn't "wow" me though...
